Crosby’s in Hamilton has to get its act together at its deli! For some reason there has been some turnover with the staff working at their deli. First, as couple of weeks ago I went there to get a sandwich, but the deli was closed due to be short staffed. Then today, I got a turkey sandwich on a very stale roll!!

Arrived at 5:50 to grab last minute dinner groceries to a sign on door saying "closed until 6:15 so enployees can take their breaks". Come on.

They need much better staff training. A woman at the checkout once made my wife cry. What they lack in customer service they make up for in high prices. Avoid.

Love Crosby’s!! However, purchased what I thought was fresh beef today that said sell by Oct 8 (todays the 5), I opened it and it was brown under the where the sticker price is and all throughout the meat. Disappointed, I thought they carried high-quality meats. Would add pics but already threw it away!

This won't be the largest or most value-oriented market out there, but it's the most convenient and extensive option for folks in Hamilton or Wenham. Otherwise, you'd have to drive to neighboring towns for larger supermarkets like Stop & Shop, Shaw's, Whole Foods, or Market Basket.Here, there's a modest selection of produce, meats, and seafood; lots of pastries and baked goods; plus the usual refrigerators, freezers, and aisles of packaged goods. Not as small as a convenience store, not as large as a big-chain supermarket - just big enough to serve as a community-level market. A good resource to have for these two relatively small communities.

this crosby's has been consistently more expensive than any store, yet no greater product is sold here. the cumbies probably has more to offer, otherwise shaw's or stop & shop-- the staff also are not particularly kind or friendly

Prices are a bit high as they are small but good quality

This is just the right kind of small town supermarket. Prices are a little higher than something like Market Basket, but not so high that you feel like you are being screwed. Wine selection is great for everyday consumption.
