I have been buying from here for over 20 years but today was my last day. I always return my empty beer bottles & cans here and then purchase more. The salesclerk today who I have never seen before literally opened every box to check if they were all "Sam Summers." She lifted each bottle and can-not kidding. I was honestly in shock as she said, "We lose money if we take bottles and cans we actually don't sell here in the store." Then another customer came to the back & asked if she could pay for her wine. When the salesclerk returned to me to finish checking my empties, she didn't apologize but continued to lecture me how the store has lost money divvying out 5 cents per can on beer they don't sell. After she gave me my $2.40 (4 half cases) I left instead of purchasing more Sam Summer for the cookout I was going to. I went to Crosby's instead.

Excellent selection. Negative reviews on an early close during the ridiculous covid shutdowns doesn't properly review a business... who knows if there was a personal issue with staff?

The store is convenient for sure and the selection is good. It's just that the owner is not a happy, engaging person. It would be a more pleasant experience if she would acknowledge the customers and maybe smile occasionally.

Awesome atmosphere and very welcoming service. The meals were fresh and yummy. Will absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. Reasonable prices and large portions. Great job.
