“We had our wedding on October 7, 2023 and everyone had a blast! The attention to detail that the staff took while setting up everything was amazing! I saw the room before the guests entered and it took my breath away! It was so beautiful and elegant, I couldn’t have asked for anything more! The food was delicious- we had prime rib and NE chicken. My husband’s grandmother uses a walker which I told Victoria, our event manager, and the staff accommodated to her needs so much so that she said she felt like she was “at a Kennedy wedding” . Several people have told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I’m so glad we went with The Lakehouse. They catered to the bridal party so attentively and they truly do make your day so special! I am beyond grateful to them!”
“We had our wedding reception on 1/27/24 at the Villa. I don't even know where to really start on our experience. It was much more than I would've expected. Exceptional all the way around. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. The food was absolutely amazing. These are only overshadowed by the staff and service. They are more than five star from planning to execution. We planned our wedding in five months. The communication and guidance through the entire process gave me and my wife to focus on other things. I felt after the first meeting that we were definitely in good hands. Meredith and the team were so easy to work with. We also had some last minute fumbles getting our decorations to the venue. Meredith stayed later and also secured some extra time with another associate for next day to complete our setup. When we arrived for the reception everything went smooth and seamless from part to the next. We had a lot of moving parts and the staff hit every mark. We have received so may compliments from our guests and vendors. Again...professional, reliable, and friendly staff. I highly recommend the Villa At Ridder for weddings, receptions, etc...”
“This place is a lot bigger than I expected & has plenty of parking. There is a bar onsite. Thursday's food truck night during the warmer months is a lot of fun! Highly recommend!”
“We could not be happier with our wedding ceremony & reception at Jones River Trading Post in December 2023. We went with the vendor package and it was so nice to have Michelle coordinating everything throughout the planning process. Everything about our night was lovely and we have had so many guests tell us that they loved the food & the whole experience of the venue. This place is a hidden gem on the South Shore. I loved the cozy set up with lots of plants, mood lighting, and a variety of seating available to guests while gathering around the dance floor. Cannot recommend this place enough!”

With 2 bars and a full kitchen and side rooms, it has everything you need for a grand affair in style. Plenty of parking and conveniently located on route 18 in Whitman, these function spaces have it all.”

“I came for a babyshower. It seems like there was a lot of miscommunication with the hoat and the venue owner. Sodas are a dollar. I didnt get alcohol. Didnt like how the bar tender just walked off with one of the toddlers and walked him to the bar side to show him things he shouldnt see god forbid he ran off over there in the mids of the whole party cause lets be serious, we all know how toddlers can be just taking off”

“I rented the function hall for a celebration of life and it was awesome. Carol was amazing with giving me the run down of the rules and helping out. The bartender was great. She was so nice and everyone had a great time. I received my deposit as soon as I was done with clean up. I'll be back and I'll probably be joining the club. Thank you for everything you guys are so great.”
