We had our wedding on October 7, 2023 and everyone had a blast! The attention to detail that the staff took while setting up everything was amazing! I saw the room before the guests entered and it took my breath away! It was so beautiful and elegant, I couldn’t have asked for anything more! The food was delicious- we had prime rib and NE chicken. My husband’s grandmother uses a walker which I told Victoria, our event manager, and the staff accommodated to her needs so much so that she said she felt like she was “at a Kennedy wedding” . Several people have told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I’m so glad we went with The Lakehouse. They catered to the bridal party so attentively and they truly do make your day so special! I am beyond grateful to them!

We were married on 8.11.23! Victoria and the whole team at Sapphire Group were so amazing on the day of our wedding and the days leading up to it. I had a lot of questions, and they were very responsive each time. We got married the The Lakehouse, and the views were amazing. The food was incredible and people still talk about it! The vibe was calm and their decor has really come along, it went right along with my style. I know they are still renovating, so I am sure it will be even more amazing in the coming years. We wish we could do it all over again! :)

We got married at the Lakehouse in Halifax on 09/15/23 which is now owned by sapphire event group and the experience couldn’t have been better. The venue is already stunning but the service was exceptional. We worked with coordinator Victoria who was there for us every step of the way. She was always quickly responsive when we had questions and was just as excited about our day as we were. The food was amazing the guests raved about it and everything went smoothly the day of. Victoria made the ballroom look absolutely amazing and brought my vision to life! I would definitely recommend sapphire event group and the lakehouse and I would choose it again if I could do it over!

The Lake House is the best for a wedding. The staff was amazing. Victoria and Terry went above and beyond to make sure we were all on the same page. They kept us right on schedule. All of the staff were professional and had great personalities. The food is fantastic. All of our guests were blown away. And to top of the perfect day, chocolate chip cookies to go. All of our guests called to find out where they came from. They were honestly the best cookie ever!We cannot thank the staff enough for all that they did to make our day perfect.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Lakehouse on 9/9/2023. It was a beautiful day and came out perfectly because of our wondering wedding coordinator Victoria!! The staff was excellent and took care of everything! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and staff for our special day!

From myself and my husband, if you visit this venue and fall in love like we did, jump in with both feet! They even changed companies mid-year when we were still planning with them and they did their best to make the transition seamless. Victoria especially is one of the best humans I've ever met. She helped ease our anxiety, gave us advice and validation, and went above and beyond to make sure our day was what we wanted even with a few wrenches thrown in the works (like the venue's first tornado warning!).

Cannot say enough positive about The Lakehouse and my experience with Victoria and all of the staff! My wife and I had our reception for our wedding in July and it was perfect!The planning with Victoria, tasting with the chef for meal options and reviewing all of the details was effortless. Myself and my wife have been engaged since 2020 and finally we were able to have our dream wedding at The Lakehouse. I can't say enough positive about how the staff supported us and made our wedding such a special day.In terms of the actual wedding day we had been warned by other that "It will go by too fast" "you won't have enough time to do everything". Our experience at The Lakehouse was the exact opposite! We did have a five hour reception and although it flew by we never felt rushed. Our bridal attendant was BEYOND amazing! She made sure my wife was ready, organized and kept all of the bridal party, parents and myself happy. Any request was carried out immediately and she was attentive to every detail.The food? AMAZING, we went with both a chicken and a steak option and to this day it still stands at the best steak of my life! The guests couldn't stop telling us that the food was incredible and some of the best food they had ever had at a wedding!Victoria led the charge and kept amazing communication with our vendors and of course us! We never felt rushed throughout the evening and had a clear plan for what was next.If there is any doubt in your mind about going here for a wedding, event or party, take a look at the property!! Our guests are still commenting how amazing the view was, right on the water and amazing gardens!Thank you to all of the staff that supported us and made our day amazing!

My wife and I recently got married at The Lakehouse in early August. We actually toured the facility with the previous owners of the establishment. The fact that the venue was undergoing a change in management made us a little worried, but the fair price and the beautiful views helped us make our decision. And we are so very happy that we chose the Lakehouse. The Saphire Event Group provided us with as stress free of an experience as we could get. Our wedding coordinator was kind and knew how to get stuff done. On the day of our wedding, the extremely competent staff was on top of everything, the views and décor were absolutely stunning, and our ~100 guests were all happy and impressed.I could not recommend the Lakehouse (or one of Saphire Event Groups other venues) enough. What really made them stick out to us is how responsive and respectful they were. A small mistake was made with some of the food (understandably so as their culinary team went out of their way to design a special Vegan menu for our wedding) and the response from the venue was incredibly impressive. They set up a meeting to talk with us about the mistakes and worked with us to fully reconcile them. I have never experienced such a fair and respectful response from any type of company I have worked with in the past. We could tell our feelings were valued and that is extremely rare to come by in any industry these days.Thank you to all of the Staff at The Lakehouse and Saphire Event Group for providing an amazing service in such a fair, elegant, and meaningful fashion!

Omg, where do I start! Victoria Rando is the most sweetest, professional, friendly person I’ve every had the pleasure of dealing with. I’m not an easy person to please but Between her answering every silly email I sent to making sure every detail was done, To meeting at the venue the day before to go over last minute things, and our Day arrives on Saturday 6/24, and it was over the top when I walked in! I couldn’t be more pleased with Everything!! My guests were amazed with the fountain in the lake, the food, the atmosphere, the Bartender was awesome! I can’t say enough, I really appreciate everything. The staff was very nice, friendly! There’s not enough stars for me to write as my Experience! Top Knotch 200%Thanks again to Hilary as well! Attended a comedy show with buffet dinner here. The comedians were mostly good, the food was decent and the room was nice. 2 too many seats at each table though.

I fell in love with Lakeside Villa once I saw the views of the water and their beautiful landscape. I knew we had to have our wedding here! Planning our wedding was so easy with them -- Amanda was great at communicating and kept in touch with the vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. Tricia was our day-of coordinator and she went above and beyond! She walked us through everything and I was so impressed with how quickly she bustled my dress by herself. Our guests continue to rave about how perfect the day was and I couldn't agree more!

These are the people who nowingly sold gift cards to the former restaurant knowing that they were turning it into a banquet hall. While they did honor the gift cards, they offered a sub shop and pizza, not fine dinning. I will NEVER cross their threshold again. Their are wsy too many better dining establishment in Halifax for me to bother with them or pub 550.
