“On this non-busy weekday late in the apple-picking season, not only did they take an order for a jumbo amount of cider donuts, but when I asked about pick-your-own, they offered an accommodation for my disability that had not even occurred to me. It made the difference between my staying to pick and my leaving with just the donuts. I loved Westward Orchards before, and I love them more now. I'll be back soon!”
“Always a pleasant experience! The produce, baked goods and meats are of the highest quality. Beautiful artisan garnishes and unique gifts make this a favorite place to find a gift and gather the ingredients for a special occasion. From hand made knitted items to accent pieces and artist supplies there is a little something for everyone. The focaccia bread is always fresh and the rosemary and sea salt is a favorite. This stretch of route 119 can be tricky and getting in and out of the parking lot can require some patience. The parking lot is gravel and could challenge some worth the visit!”
“It seems no matter the season this spot has everything one could hope for: from fresh fragrant Christmas trees to gorgeous landscaping perennials to vegetable plants that produce in abundance. The little shop is always cheerful and full of the kind of surprises that warm the insides: hot cider, vibrant produce, potted bulbs, creamy local cheeses, tangy pickles, fresh cut flowers and bright little flourishes for the home and garden. We love it here!”
“Love the variety of xmas ornaments. Bought some last year for a yankee swap. Will be doing the same this year. Place looks very festive and cozy. Great Xmas tree selection too.”
“The beautiful floral arrangement for my daughter was just as I had wanted. The staff was helpful and gave great recommendations. Friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt in delivery. Also, a great financial value!”
“Fresh and local. We need the best nutrition right now, so this place is good. MASS DTA SNAP recipients get rebates to encourage buying fresh vegetables and fruit.Almost everyone currently qualifies, so hopefully people take advantage of this benefit”
“Wow, wow, wow!My husband and I were driving through the area, saw the farmstand and decided to pull over. First and foremost, their flowers are shockingly beautiful! I have never seen bigger, more luscious hanging baskets in my life. With procies ranging from $30-$60, they are beyond fair for the size and quality. We went in and purchased two small pies, asparagus, the juiciest strawberries we have ever had, and some cookies. The kind gentleman (that I assume is Gary) was "quite the salesman" and we loaded up on his suggestions. Major kudos to the young gentleman that rang us up- grandson maybe? He was taking such pride in talking about their flower baskets! Definitely worth the hour drive from where I live to purchase plants from them!”
“We were traveling and stumbled upon this place by accident. Very impressed by the homegrown vegetables, better than Bolton Orchard which was well-known. We bought some nuts and fresh corns and my oh my, they were super sweet! If I were living in the area, this will be my go-to place for fresh vegetables.”
