I purchased an external hard drive online for a one hour pickup. It was a Sunday morning, so it usually is not as busy. Two hours had gone by with no response, so I decided to go there an see was it issue was. Upon entering the store it was pretty barren. I went to the online pickup counter and see three employees standing around talking. The woman behind the counter said the order wasn't even picked yet. What is the point of one hour pickup if I have to ask for it two hours later. Just seems to me that with their workload it should have been no longer than 10 minutes.

Bought an office chair online. Doesn't feel right went to return to the store. Because of covid-19 pandemic store is working abbreviated hours. Sign states closing at 6pm. Load chair into the car and it's packaging get to the store with about 20 minutes to spare. Doors locked and not opening. Wtf? Call the store to ask what's up. Get told that they didn't have enough business today and sent people home early. Ask them what I'm supposed to do? Told to come back tomorrow. Keep in mind they were technically still open. The store chose to close earlier than advertised and instead of staying open chose to send me away. Based on my history of working retail I cannot believe the mindset. Don't worry staples I'll return the chair and buy some where else.

An average experience. Went in to get some containers for organizing. Prices were fair. Selection was alright. Usually use Amazon but I wanted to feel what I was getting first. Cashier was okay, probably better off doing stock work or a less people interacting job. Overall a 5 out of 10. As a chain, it could do a lot better.

Genuinely, this is one of the nicer Staples I've come across. Briefly, the pros: -nice big parking lot -polite, helpful employees (check out cashier today has worked there for 16 years!) -no hovering or obnoxious salespeople -pretty surprising prices (in a good way)! I happened to look at printers today, and there's a sale going on from now til mid-August with "instant rebates" that result in almost half off the price of a printer! Example: a nice Canon printer (with scan and copy features) was only ~$70! and this wasn't even a "base model". -they offer electronic receipts-- convenient and green! And the cons: -several "shelves" (or where they hang items) were disheveled and/or nearly empty. If you need standard office supplies and/or home office equipment, go here. For personal stationary, basic pen and ink type deals, I'd recommend a particular mom-and-pop shop off of Main St.

I don't know how this place stays in business. I found out the hard way that this store sells a lot of "clearance or closeout machines" and they do not offer any service for what they sell. Numerous times I have gone to this store for a specific item and it is out of stock. And why on earth would they start selling things such as diapers?

Very unimpressed with the copy center. Very slow and lack customer service ended up leaving the store without my prints sadly, hoping the hadley location is better going there tomorrow for try number 2

Came into Staples this evening to pick up some office supplies, and was pleasantly surprised to see how well stocked the shelves were. This store also had a great selection of clearance items, and the staff was polite and helpful when looking for an item that I couldn't find.

Staples is such a generic store. Best Buy has a better selection, but it still lacks in comparison to online retailers. The service at this staples is exceptionally poor as well and prices here are quite high.
