My review is for Lee Kimball, the head pharmacist at big Y. I have never had such a nice and courteous plus caring pharmacist in my life. She is non-judgmental and treat you like a human being. But I will say that there is one pharmacist there that refuses to fill my prescriptions no matter what even if they’re on time. I don’t know if she has a thing against Adderall I believe. Pharmacist Lee Campbell makes up for that in spades. He is a lovely and I am glad to have her as a pharmacist at BIG Y. Thank you so much, Lee Kimball

I’d like to say I truly enjoyed the convenience and closeness I had while having my prescriptions refilled at this location until recently. Mind you I work overnight shifts and travel often for work for health and human services as a paramedic. So the convenience was very much appreciated especially when I drive 45 minutes to and from work.
But as of recently I’m not sure why since it took forever to get some explanation why I’m being targeted, granted I’ve always paid out of pocket because it causes less of a delay on picking up my medications, and it’s actually more affordable because my health insurance sucks so I don’t utilize that. Plus the discount for paying out of pocket made more sense. But as of recently Rachelle, the large lady who has been nothing but rude to me suddenly states she can’t fill my prescriptions, yes I understand it’s just my regular Adderall that I take as needed especially during classes while out of state and it helps me. But I’m suddenly told she can’t fill it because she needs to talk to my prescriber and that I’m suspicious.
I’ve been coming here for over a year, not once abused any sort of medications because I would lose my job on top of my job with the government, and suddenly she tells me I’m suspicious and won’t fill it. When she does talk to my prescriber she’s just as rude when I heard what she told her. Absolutely agitated and felt completely upset that she assumed I was someone who would be suspicious. Now I’d like to say because of that rude troll Rachelle, which by the way you can probably encourage her for better hygiene due to her breath and tartar and self care, I have not had my medication for over a month and it has been nothing but a struggle because of her assumptions and suddenly targeting me after going there for over a year with absolutely no problems!
Though I’d like to say I have not had any problems with other persons in this pharmacy, I’d like to a commend Lee, Sam, And Ed for all being kind, patient and never once made me feel like I was being profiled as well as the kind small talk and interactions. You 3 are much appreciate and I’m sorry your stuck working with a tyrant.

I use the pharmacy, my meds are always ready and correct! Very unfriendly, but I guess that is okay cos everything else is good.

Had a pull apart cake made for my sons party and first of all they didn’t even put the right things on the cake that I wanted they also will not try to even draw anything on cakes besides writing happy birthday the price of the cake is not worth it the workers are rude if it wasn’t for it being last minute I wouldn’t have used big y at all many other people are dissatisfied at the cake making alls I wanted was a game themed cake but they couldn’t even draw a game controller on it it was just a white cake with a blue rim that’s it even one of the workers told me they wouldn’t bother trying because they don’t want to have to do more ridiculous!!

Have been shopping here since opening.Even converted my mother from Stop+Shop(never that helpfully or friendly)...ALWAYS A GREAT EXPERIENCE:shopping,calling for info+orders, returning,etc. MY go too store!!

They dont treat their employees properly. Making them work throughout state mandate breaks. No raises. Senior staff make same as new hire.

System is very old, younger staff don't take the initiative. I didn't get my saving because the girl (young)couldn't write down my phone# i said it4 times. After 4 im like bever mind. Every register open was at least 5 ppl deep. I didn't want to hold up ppl anymore then already. No more. Done!!!!

Their seafood department "lost" a Father's Day order that they had for a week. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't cor the fact that it was for a recently widowed, 92 year old diabled veteran. Not that they knew that, but that's their customer base, soooo, yeah.

I love how they have alot of different departments. They have basically there own restaurant inside the store with a very big 3 ft sub cheap. They have a very big selection of food with very decent prices. Big parking lot the ATM in the parking lot is very cool it looks like a very big tree stump in the distance I thought it was real.

My wife and I moved into the area 15+ years ago. When we were looking for a supermarket, in addition to Big Y we tried Stop and Shop in Greenfield and Price Chopper in Brattleboro. All three are about the same distance from where we live. After a while we realized that overall Big Y was the cheapest, had the best deals and quality.
