Wonderful place. Found some used fiction here for which I had been looking for some time, and in excellent condition. Inviting and well-organized. Ripley the cat was curious about us but not enough to let us pet him, sadly. :(

The Yellow House bookstore is lovely and filled with a curated selection of books. There is a resident cat who is very sweet and enjoys gentle attention. There are also fun quotes and pieces of artwork on the walls and tucked on shelves. Go check it out!

Super cute bookstore in Great Barrington. It is a small bookstore but it carries a little bit of everything. My son found a perfect book to read while on vacation. The person manning the store was super nice. I would definitely go back.

Charming used bookstore with a large selection of vintage and early edition books, especially children's rare print and classics. Ripley the cat is very friendly!

Great used book selection with a big variety of genres. Prices are more than reasonable and the staff is helpful and very knowledgeable about their stock. The location and atmosphere is perfect. There's even a wise old house cat wandering through the store.

so cute, books of all sorts; old, new, used, etc. the shopkeeper is very nice and she has an adorable cat named ripley who walks around the store. 100% recommend a visit

We came here, actually, to get rid of some books we will not be reading again, but were blown away by the size and quality of the selection of used books. In addition to the categories you would expect, there were antique children's books, sheet music and fake books, fancy books, and a bunch of other things. Certainly a good place to come if you want something to read, if you need something specialized, or if you want to give an original gift.
