Rubiner's Cheesemongers is a fantastic cheese shop with an incredible selection of hard and soft cheeses from around the world, along with high-quality breads, spreads, and delicacies like prosciutto and smoked salmon. It offers an extensive assortment of other items including wines, jams, hot sauces, and frozen treats. The staff is super helpful, knowledgeable, and skilled. The atmosphere is nice, though the indoor air quality in the cafe area can be poor and smoky from toasting sandwiches. Some find the service has too much attitude and can feel unwelcoming, but the products are generally worth the price. It is considered the best for cheese, coffee, and sandwiches by many.
On the plus side - Great selection of cheese and breads. On the downside, the guy who runs it can be a tool. It would be nice to be able to go in buy cheese and a baguette without having to worry about what kind of mood the guy behind the counter is in.

I’ve been going to Rubiners since it opened and never had a bad experience. The quality of everything there is A+. We especially love the olives, the butter, and the aged alpine cheeses but you can’t go wrong. It’s also fun to try a wine, any wine- they have such a unique selection. A gem.
