Can't really rate them I called for an estimate, so I'll give them 2 stars for great customer service. Great customer service they were very polite and nice one the phone and got my estimate quickly. The only thing is they are very expensive but I did call around to other movers for estimates and they are all expensive. Needed to throw that out there didn't want people thinking they were the only ones expensive.

They were so very helpful. I can't thank them enough. Had my daughters wheelchair and knee scooter stored there. Coming back to college from the Chicago area traffic was bad and we were running late. They kindly kept the gate open for us so she would have her mobility aids for classes the next day. This was above and beyond helpful. Wonderful customer service thank you again!!!

I rented the storage through online. In the email it says to call to get the hrs. Apparently setting a unit online doesn't work. Upon calling I spoke to Alyssa who was suppose to email me a contract. Nothing came to my email. I called and spoke to a gentlemen who said she qent on vacation and will do my contract up when she comes back. On July 19 my bank card was charged and still no contract. I had to physically make a appearance and call while I was outside to find out why they charged my account when I've no contract yet. As I was sitting in the lot I received the email. August comes , the company now tries to take money on the 12th, call me the 27th I believe to tell me my payments late. I pay it the following day and three days later im charges fifty bucks late fee. The lady I spoke to wasn't sure if my card could be refunded so I said credit my account and she would fix the issue. Sept comes , no payment goes through yet they want to charge me a 50 late payment and yet to still charge my account or fix the payment date my contract was signed on July 19th not the 12th 3 charges of late fees and I'm only on my third and 9 days in my third month and 4 payments they claim they've tried making.

Similar as others estimate was way off when we hired them. They couldn’t explain the math. I was never allowed to talk management . Crew was okay, but can’t make up for lack of customer service at the office. Avoid them if you can.Services: Moving-related packing

Mullens handled my move from the apartment that I had in graduate school to storage. It has been 14 long years, but they will also be handling the transportation to my new house. Hopefully this will be a forever move, but if it wasn't, I would certainly consider Mullens for my future moving needs.

Not open when supposed to be and not climate controlled there like it says it’s way to pricey for what they offer they don’t even shovel in front of bay doors so I had to carry my stuff through the snow and couldn’t get my stuff out when I needed toService: Moving-related storage

I don't even know where to begin with this crap of a company ! But here how the story goes . I hired them for my father who is 80yrs old lives in Vermont . I never met Mike Pink but my dad did after he assessed his house . My dad seemed happy so i called him and hired him . At that time - my dad was unsure of where he wanted to move to . So we decided to hire Mullen and have his stuff moved to their facility in Massachusetts . Quoted price was not what he charged . It was more . In the interim we got a dumpster prior to moving and got rid of a lot of stuff and I took the real heavy stuff back to my house and we left a lot of stuff for the new owners . I contacted mike pink to let him know the weight will be considerably less . No problem, we will just adjust at the end . Oh great !! Contents of house get moved in April 13,2020. A week or so later my credit card gets banged for over $2700! For what ! I call Mike pink and he proceeds to tell me it's for handling in charges , handling out charges ( which were not even up to that yet ) extra hours for guys to " crate stuff " - I'll get back to that one . 1/2 month for April storage , may storage and June storage . Like WTF ! We're not even in June . It's still April ! Now in the interim prior to moving day mike pink gave us a price to bring the stuff to port Jefferson ,NY - price $3700. Now we decide that my dad will move to Riverhead NY . Only 15 min further than Port Jefferson , and an extra stop to my house in Seaford NY on their way back to drop off some bedroom furniture . They have to pass mine to get back to Massachusetts . Now Mike Pink sends me a price for - get ready for this $7800 ! Are you F kidding me ! So i call and let him know how disappointed i was in no uncertain terms of how can you double an estimate ? And when i called him out on his estimate he got really nasty with me . I can see a few hundred more for the extra 15 miles / minutes and 1 extra stop but double ? No way ! I'm not going for it ! So he tells me the best he can do is 10% off ! Yeah LOL you d*** idiot ! Your dealing with a Long Islander now and we don't take kindly of being taken advantage of ! So I found another mover - and hired them to go get my dads stuff from Massachusetts . Now this j*** off tells me he doesn't prorate storage - and the new mover can't get the stuff till June 3rd . So I got charged for a whole month for 3 days which was really 2 as they got there early in the morning ! But you'll prorate me for going in 1/2 month of April ! Now back to the crating . New movers deliver stuff . Only thing they crated was 1 glass top table - nailed in a cheap skid ! The other glass table was not . The box spring was put in box and the mattresses were not - so they were filthy , 6 pins to the sectional couch were missing . Oh and they moved a 100 year old bedroom set - do you think they would of wrapped it ? Nope ! And it was chipped and the other bedroom set had a chunk missing from the feet ! Animals ! Oh and they also charged me $125 an hour for a minimum of 4 hours for a total of $500 for other movers to use their dock and yet still kept the handling out fee for doing squat ! Now none of these charges were told to us prior to hiring them . So here's my suggestion . RUN ! Do NOT hire these jerk-offs ! They truly suck ! Oh and Mullen Movers - I'm not done with you either ! The Massachusetts chamber of commerce and the BBB will hear about your horrible business and trying to scam a 80 yr old veteran . Oh and my new mover was so wonderful . They held their price and since the weight was actually less than what " mike pink " said - they sent me a refund for the difference ! Now that is customer service !

We moved from out of state to the Berkshires and this company came recommended. Price quoted was good and company rep was polite and knew the answers to our questions. The trouble began on moving day. Our prized, handmade, cherry buffet was lifted by just one man and the legs snapped off. We were told - promised, actually, - by the men moving that a restoration expert would be notified and the piece would be repaired by someone who was well qualified. When we arrived at our destination our furniture was brought into the home and we noticed scratches on our furniture and dents in the walls of our home because the movers were not careful enough in getting the furniture into the house. We had put much of our furniture in storage and just recently picked it up. It had been jammed and piled high in the storage bins with little regard to what was being stored. In sharing my tale of woe with someone in this area I found that Mullen had done the same with her belongings. Broken glass on pictures (that they had packed, etc). We did not get extra insurance as we have moved several times with good results. The company not only did nothing, they obviously did not care. We hired another mover to help us get out of the Mullen storage facility and although they were supposed to open at 9am - posted on the door - no one came until 10:45am. When we told Mullen that they should reimburse us for the cost of movers ($145 per hour) who had to wait until someone arrived to open the place, we were totally ignored. Don't use Mullen Movers if you are planning a move - it's just not worth it. They have to be the worst.

The time estimate stated from Mullen regarding the amount of time their drivers spent on my move was grossly over estimated. Our home is 20 minutes from their facility and the storage unit they dropped my items to is 30 minutes away from their facility. Travel time s/b no more than the hour they estimated. Additionally, the entire move was accomplished in actually under three hours. It was estimated at 3 and they took approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. A critical point that I have articulated to Jennifer at Mullen HQ was that the three movers showed up at my house smelling of pot and acting high and stoned and under the influence. This concerned me at the inception of their arrival but I had no choice but to utilize their services. In lieu of this no doubt questionable labor practice that I am sure the Department of Labor would be interested in hearing about since it does violate federal drug free work place regs; I strongly urge you to find other movers!!!!!!! They first promised me a refund then changed their mind. They have been difficult to deal with from the start. Awful company!
