“Sort of ok basic stay. Room cleanliness questionable. Musty odor throughout. Not horrible if you need a place to crash. Hampton inn down the road better at similar price.”

“Euro-American style hospitality: expect genuine discourse with the Innkeeper...

The two of us and our Yellow Lab, spent three midweek days at the Inn for some serenity and snowboarding! We particularly enjoyed the basic, and natural comforts the Inn provides.

Quiet, peaceful and reasonably priced is all we expected, and fortunately received....

“We stayed at the Granville House for a long weekend excursion to the Berkshires & absolutely fell in love. Our room was comfortable, cozy & immaculate - we especially enjoyed borrowing records to play in the evenings while we took turns taking luxurious baths! Terri & Terry are the perfect hosts - pleasant & cheerful & full of great tips & suggestions. Breakfast was a luxurious way to start our mornings & we lamented at the end that we had been so busy having our adventures we actually wished we had been able to spend more time just relaxing at Granville! I see many returns to this wonderful slice of paradise in our future.”

“I stayed here during my A.T. thru hike. Clean, comfortable, quiet and yummy muffins--all at a reasonable price. Friendly service too. This was a slice of hiker heaven.”

“Exactly what I needed. I stayed mid week, at the end of February. It was nice and quiet, just as I was hoping. The room was cute and comfortable. I dined at the restaurant- food was fantastic and service was on point. No gift shop or snacks on-site- bring goodies to enjoy with you.”

“Egremont Village Inn is truly the most amazing inn I have ever stayed at. I stayed with a large group for a weekend and we had the most incredible time. The inn is incredibly unique, Sara's place was open for coffee, breakfast, and lunch, and the barn has incredible food and live music. Nick, the innkeeper and owner took great care of us the entire weekend and made us all feel at home. We were so comfortable (the beds were all so comfy!) and I'm already planning my next trip back. If I could give the inn more than 5 stars I would!!!”
