Good yarn selection, nice owner, and has quality supplies for any kind of project you need! I felt lucky to find this place when I was in the area for the weekend without my crochet supplies

This place and its' people are my 'other' Therapy. Last night was the anniversary of Mending Club and I hope to be there every month until the next one! I needle felted for the first time ever and honestly thought I was going to burst with excitement. THE Mending Mother- Elley- gave me one on one instructions when needed. Jamie, the heart of Hart, not only had all the felting supplies I needed, spoke much needed words of affirmation making me feel like the coolest cat in the alley ? Plus the encouragement from other menders was nice, too. The store attracts the Best people and might even convert a pessimist (like me)... I'm so glad Hart is in GB!!

I stopped by this shop for the first time this past Saturday after a wild morning of selling at a market. I was immediately calm and relaxed by the layout, sunlight, music, and the owner Jamie. I nabbed some BEAUTIFUL fabric and even found a sewing machine do dad I planned to buy online! A lovely space with excellent energy - highly recommend for anyone looking for art supplies and/or to discover a new hobby!

IF YOU NEED ANYTHING FOR A CRAFT PLEASE COME HERE. Jamie is so kind and accommodating! First time I visited she sold me a set of knitting needles from her personal stash because she didn’t have the size I needed in stock. She just ordered me a sewing machine part so I didn’t have to go to Pittsfield to go to Joanns or order on Amazon. So happy to have someone with good values serving our community. I’m so happy to be able to get all my handwork needs met locally!

Really nice and knowledgeable proprietor. The attractive store is packed with beautiful yarns and fiber art tools. There are interesting classes offered, even looms for weaving. If I lived near there, I’d be a regular customer.

Jamie was the best!!! I was traveling and made a mistake in my pattern and she spent so much time with me and fixed the problem. She is delightful and so easy to sit with and knows her knitting. I recommend her store so highly.

This is where I learned to sew, mend my own clothes, and where I buy all my sewing notions, yarn, etc. I bring all my friends who visit town here--they have all kinds of sewing/knitting/weaving classes, great for an activity if you're visiting the Berkshires, or to grab a local present for yourself or friends or mom! Super artsy & fun.

I was very excited to learn how to use the sewing machine. Jamie is a fabulous teacher and I really enjoyed her class. And signed up for another sewing class. I can’t wait to learn how to make more things on the machine with Jamie.

Jamie was enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable, and very patient. I hadn't sewn in more than 30 years and am now ready to take on some projects. Making a tote bag may seem simple, but it's not. In the two class sessions we covered a myriad of best practices and good techniques.

What an amazing addition to Great Barrington! Notions, patterns, yarn (no more Amazon or driving 40 mins to JoAnn), fabric pop-ups, locally-made clothes, books, gifts. Knitting and sewing circles, textile classes of all kinds. A home for mending, learning, conversing (slash gossiping). So happy this place is here!
