I used to love this place but I can no longer look past the dirt and dust that has accumulated on everything in their store and no one cleans! The elderly people who work there are cute but at some point if you can't see the dirt, hire someone who can. They sit and gather in the back of the store and recently (maybe I missed this in the past) all their meats and cheeses are pre-cut and wrapped in cellophane. I want to like this place again but it looks really unsanitary. If they do not clean and dust what else are they skimping on?

My family and I have been shopping here for 50 years. The sandwiches are great and the cheeses are excellent. There is a large collection of wines over a wide price range. There is a good selection of jams and hard to find condiments. The owners and the staff are very nice. It has an old-time feel and I like the fact that it has been family-run for over 100 years.

I grew up in town and spent my entire youth frequenting this store with my grandfather. We strolled through town today and I was thrilled to walk the aisles again. I could almost hear the old timers, long since gone, chatting. The selection is excellent and the store is very clean.

This family owned and operated store has been a staple in our downtown community for years. Delicious sandwiches, wonderful array of wines and everything you need for gift giving, celebrations, and everyday use. If anyone hasn’t shopped here you are missing out on what a (small ) town business is like. I wish them the best.

I love the deli sandwiches and soups you can get from here. They have a good selection of simple groceries and a decent selection of teas. Rolling rock salts is sold here and if you haven't tried them, do yourself a favor and pick some up here. Everybody is always super friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of vegetables and frozen food as well.
