This is a very decent sized supermarket. they have lots of room, multiple aisles, and a great selection on food. They had plenty of sales which was a great for me as a visitor to the area. The Big Y discount members card was very easy to get (unlike other supermarkets around the area). The only issue was the TERRIBLE cell reception in the building. We had to physically go outside to make an account. No biggie. Their produce section is very nicely stocked with lots of variety. They have a whole area just for organic foods. there is a huge selection of meats. They have a nice deli and bakery area too. I will say, I was a bit disappoint in their prepared foods, but perhaps that is just what their customer base wants. There isn't a whole lot going on in the prepared foods that is very satisfactory. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was overall a very nice place to shop

Ordered a Cheeseburger pizza for take out and what a disappointment. Basically, no sauce, likely 4 oz. of meat on the whole thing, and very little cheese. The only ingredients that were plentiful were pickles and lettuce. At $17.99, it was disgraceful.

Big Y is wonderful. We had to cater a wedding brunch and we needed a good white fish salad for our out-of-town visitors and Big Y was the best!! Highly recommend!!

Was placed on a never ending hold on the pizza line. Just wanted to order pizza for my business, gave up after 20 mins of holding. Women in the deli department are rude.

I do love visiting stores to see how the other half live. Plenty of parking, a friendly welcoming store with doors open to customers with a lovely display of produce. Flyer available gives info on sales and prices in general. Often I find a lot of bargains. Unfortunately, I think the pandemic has hit all communities and prices are up everywhere. Its a clean store, with a number of areas where you can get lunch or dinner. Are they good? Maybe next time I'll get some.

I was shopping at this Big Y today. I was looking for a particular bakery item and couldn't find it. I asked a bakery worker for the item. He very nicely went to the back of the bakery and found the exact item I was looking for. He was so pleasant and accommodating. He went above and beyond to help me out. This Big Y in particular always has the most pleasant and helpful staff. Thank you to the young man in the bakery department for all your help!

This used to be a great supermarket. Not anymore. They have done away with many major brands and push their own. Shelves are empty much of the time. They enlarged their wine/liquor department which meant taking away an awful lot of space for grocery items. Trying to get answers from their in store managers as to why they are out of so many items doesn't produce any answers. Writing directly to Big Y corporate gets no acknowledgment or response. No more Big Y for me. Guidos and Price chopper seem to be the winners.

I give 4 because overall this Big Y and the Lee MA Big Ys are the best grocery stores due to their DAIRY- I never have to check a date and I've never seen shelves so clean and organized DELI -employees are always there with big smiles waiting to help you and patient when you need a second, PRODUCE- amazing!!!! The department works so hard to put out the freshest produce and I never need to check a pack of berries and they go above and beyond with customer service in both stores. But the MEAT department is horrible. Not their meat it's their customer service. If you ask for help while they're putting stuff out, watch out attitude. I asked for something behind the counter last Saturday and the employee (Chris) started taking the wrong product out and when I stopped him to let him know it was wrong he yelled at me and said that that's what I asked for and then when he got what I originally asked for the pounds were way off. I clearly asked for 1.75 lbs and he claimed that I said 14 lbs. it was a huge seen and all the customers backed me up by saying they heard me correctly. I have never been treated this poorly. I'm an overly nice customer and obviously he was having a very off day but I'd like to say it was the first experience in that department with him but it wasn't. This one was just the final one I could take. Unfortunately I do love their meat but I'll take my business elsewhere. I do a lot of catering and purchasing so this will be a loss to them.

Our home away from home during this pandemic season, always has everything we need. How often have people asked me -- Did you get this (delicious item) at Guido's (referring to the pretentious supermarket that caters to city types) and I proudly answer, I only shop at Le Grand Ygreque. And so does 'Mr. Big' (actor Chris Noth) who was spotted filling his cart in Gt Barrington!

Extremely pricey. It appears they price gouge because of tourism

Manager Steve allows maskless shopping and explicitly notes there is nothing he can do to prevent those unwilling to comply with the MA mask guidelines. Big Y's presentation as a safe place to shop is hollow.
