Clock was repaired in a very timely manner and delivered and hung for a very reasonable charge. Brad knows his clocks. I was so happy to find him.

If you want someone who loves clocks to take care of your clock, you should take it to Brad. I had a rare, beautiful early 17th century Swiss clock destroyed in shipping. Not only did Brad take it apart, salvage what he could, and put it back together, but he put assembled both the wood case and movement and had it running beautifully. He charged a very fair price and the service was outstanding. I am from Connecticut but Steeplechase is the only place I would consider for future clock repairs.

Brad is excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Took the time to explain what was wrong with my clock and fixed it before the date he said it would be done. Very happy with his workmanship and quality! I will go to him the next time I need a clock repaired.

I had a motor driven mechanical timer for a 50's vintage GE oven, which needed a replacement gear. Brad was able to modify a spare he had which got the timer working. He gave my small one-of job his attention and at more than fair cost. Thank you.

I bought an antique mantel clock on E Bay which did not work. Brad made a thorough assessment and recommended several viable alternatives. The clock still has its original face and hands but now has new works and keeps perfect time. This is the go-to place in New England for expert clock advice and repairs.

Bradley restored an 80-year-old grandfather clock that hadn't worked in years to perfect working order. He also mended a cuckoo clock so it cuckoos again. He's a thorough professional, does quality work and is a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend him.

We have an heirloom grandfather clock that started to miss a few chime notes. Brad came out to diagnose the problem and despite the age and wear on the movement, was able to tweak the works to restore all the tones to their normal status. Very creative solution to a difficult problem.

I would recommend this place to any clock lover who needs their precious clock repaired . He really cares about your clock and does his best to repair it. If you can't bring the clock to him, (grandfather clock), he Will come to you.

I had no idea where to turn when the wooden Swiss clock from 1740 with a unique repeater movement that I had shipped to my mother's house in Connecticut arrived destroyed. While I could still hear it ticking, I couldn't even lift it up to look at the face because it was so fragile. Not living in Connecticut, I had to do some serious research and I came across Steeplechase Clock. There were a few companies I considered in Connecticut and Massachusetts, but after speaking with Brad at Steeplechase I had a feeling that he had the passion for clocks that I was looking for, and my instinct paid off. Not only did he repair the body of the clock to as close to original as possible, but he cleaned the movement and made sure it was working well before turning it over to me, and even did a little research on the clock as well. I know it was a process that took quite a lot of work; I'm glad I chose Brad to do it.
