Richard measured and ordered blinds to replace some broken ones. He returned with new ones within two weeks and installed them perfectly. He also fixed two older blinds and gave good advice. Excellent service!

I wish I had read all the bad reviews so I wouldn't have to add another one. Over 11 weeks and I still don't have my roman shades up. The father is a stubborn condescending fool that is outdated and opinionated. The son appears better, but then he over promises and under delivers. My Roman shades were installed and very crooked/uneven and were picked up over a month ago to be corrected and I was promised I would have them back before Christmas.. nope.. they are on vacation. I'm left with cheap paper shades that keep falling down. They are horrible!

I contacted The Curtain Shop in March 2019 because I wanted professional expertise, someone who could assess which blinds would work best on the inside of my two exterior doors in the large open room with a vaulted ceiling. I showed the salesman, Richard, a photo of what I wanted. Instead I received something totally different. In addition, the blinds were too close to the door handle, rubbing against the hand, and clanged when open and shut. I tried contacting Richard three times for remediation as well as the store manager, Jennifer, and have received no response, I paid over $700 for something unsuitable that I cannot use. There is no excuse for poor salesmanship and poor customer service, especially at these prices. I have waited patiently for a response with none forthcoming.

Watch out. Rich sold the business to his son Rob. It is a long story. Lets say Rich measured and Rob installed. My basement and second floor shades match 3/4'" pleat. However, the first floor shades do not match, shades with 3/8". I asked for professional help from them. As you know you can go on-line and do it yourself, paying a lot less I would image. Rich says you have a 20 day wait period after installation, in case you need something changed out or adjusted. I called on 18th day to remind them I will call you in two days for the 20th day. I asked for darkening shades for the front of the house first floor. I needed 5 new darkening shades. Rob replaced 3 of the 5 filtered shades with maybe some left over darkening shades in his warehouse. He seemed confused on installation. It not only had a different pleat size but a wond handle on it. Not a rise up like the others. All the shades should match in the home. Rob said I'll get back to you on it. He never did. As for the receptionist Jen, I believe she is not much help. My call was not returned. I spent 0ver 9K. To fix the problem I got 3 estimates from other shade companies. It will cost in the range of $4200-$4700. Amex can't refund me because Rob or Rich are not responding to Amex. Case closed. This is NOT over. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, THE CURTAIN SHOP.
