Absolutely fabulous historic home. The tour was fantastic and detailed, with illuminating stories about the fascinating Henry Davis Sleeper and his home. The design of each room is magical and eclectic, and the gardens are stunning. An absolute must visit!

Stunning views and beautiful architecture to photograph a Portrait, Wedding or special event. Check out this recent ceremony taken by me. When booking this location you do not have access to the museum. You only get to use the beautifully landscaped grounds. So keep that in mind when planning a photoshoot.

About Beauport, Sleeper-McCann House
Beauport, the Sleeper-McCann House, a National Historic Landmark, was the summer home of one of America’s first professional interior designers, Henry Davis Sleeper. Perched on a rock ledge overlooking Gloucester Harbor, Beauport was a retreat, a backdrop for entertaining, and a professional showcase; an inspiration to all who visited. After Sleeper’s death, Beauport was purchased by the McCanns, who left it largely intact. Visit and get to know Sleeper, a gay man living in the early twentieth century, and see his lifetime collection in his home of more than forty rooms, each more visually dazzling than the last. Open late May - Oct. 15. Advance tickets are strongly recommended; tours frequently sell out. Visit our website to purchase.
