I am surprised at the bad reviews - I go here instead of my own PO because the people at Boxford are inept. Lose mail when it's been held, leave a note to pick up a package and then take it out again so I can't pick it up, or leave packages lying in the snowbank. Give incorrect info about hold requests. Haven't had a problem in Georgetown.

Had to wait outside in the cold because the line was so long. Waited about 10 minutes before I left because the 1 person at the counter was struggling and the line wasn't moving

Each month I head for the post office to mail out the office billing, and each time I have been greeted by a friendly employee. I have found Georgetown postal workers to be helpful and very pleasant.

Jesus, the customer service here is brutal! Why do post office ladies hate their job? They expect you to carry a roll of tape on you if you want to mail out a package, even if you're buying a box there. The blonde woman (Cheryl) at the register knows how to sour a persons mood. These people really want to do the bare minimum and they have an attitude the entire time. It's gross. Find better people that understand "customer service"

Just got off the phone with the office realy rude an when I asked if they can contact there diver about a letter they told me they don’t have the drivers numbers so you let people work for you an you don’t know there numbers. This is Supposed to be a federal government building. I Doubt you have people dive an don’t know how to get in touch. Wha a joke.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Never ran into one friendly employee at this place. Everyone is miserable like you are bothering them every time you go in. Sad I have to drive 15 minutes away to a different post office to not have my day ruined

Over the past few months I've had multiple deliveries fail at my business on Saturdays because of a "No Access To Delivery Location", despite multiple entrances to my unit and clearly labeled signs and my actual presence in the office at the time of the scheduled delivery. There is no notice from the Post Office saying when they will attempt deliveries again. What's more, They close early on Saturdays, so I am unable to get in contact with them past Noon until Monday. While I understand the current state of the Postal Service is hectic, this level of repeated miscommunication and lack of diligence is noticeable and frustrating to the extreme. If you work in Georgetown, MA and have packages ordered it is probably smarter just to have them deliver your business mail right to your house if you want it to actually arrive on time.

Let's see now, there is one horses-rear end who acts as though the customers are putting her out. If you or any of your co-workers read these reviews, here's a clue for you: YOU are a public worker! YOU work with the public! Part of your job is to SERVE the CUSTOMERS and to do it with at least a semblance of good customer-service skill. YOU fail in the customer service area. And here's another flash: Who do you think you are? Do you think you're the only workers who have to put up with "having to deal with customers"? Put a damn smile on your face and be happy you have a friggin job!

When I walked in the manager was speaking to one of the staff members and saying some condescending, sexist remarks about the women who work there, so right off the bat it was a not so pleasant experience to walk into. Along with this conversation happening infront of a customer, the woman who helped me was incredibly rude. I will not be using this office again and will not be recommending it to anyone else.

Extremely rude miserable employees. I sent my grown daughter there to pick up a package for me and she was greeted by a bitter employee who had the nerve to say "AND" after my daughter explained that she was looking for a package that was being held. She was told by this woman that they do not hold packages. She offered no help and sent my daughter on her way. We ended up finding the slip that mail carrier left us so my daughter returned with the slip. This time she was greeted by a different employee. Also a woman and again, very rude. She huffed and puffed, pretty much tossed the package at my daughter and sent her on her way. I don't take kindly to people being rude for no reason. This post office needs to evaluate how they treat people and learn that you treat people they way you want to be treated. I will be emailing a complaint with the postmaster and the USPS website. I also sent a private email to Megan Brennan USPS Postmaster General for the United States. No need to be nasty!

I don't like this post office or the old bitties that work there. Mean lady working the counter with the angry face in the morning is the worst! I was trying to explain to her about a letter and she motioned her hands like come on get to the point when I was talking. Really rude people working there. Nothing will be done because they are federal employees so they can treat customers poorly. From now on I'll go the next city over where the employees are somewhat pleasant. Unbelievable.
