I shop here regularly for produce in particular. Local raw honey. ice cream, lots of other stuff. definitely worth checking them out”
“This is truly a hidden gem. The customer service is friendly and always greet you. The food is fresh, hot, and tasteful. It’s also just a cute and homey environment with lots of knick knacks and gift ideas. I highly recommend the matcha frappe!”
“Can’t beat the price. However you have to beat the lines as often they back up quite a bit. And its mainley due to morons not knowing how to load the station. Some try to beat the line by comjng in backwards. They are complete buffoons! Good to see attendants stopping them and making them pull back out and do it right. Overall great place for low price gas. I also take advantage of the unlimited car wash deal next door. Gas and a wash every time.”

“My daughter drives by after work and stops at Farmer Brown to grab soups, etc. periodically and grabs me stuff too. I love to make soup at home BUT sometime I like taking a break from cooking. Because I make soup often I have a tendency to be a bit fussy when having it elsewhere. That said, I could easily eat Farmer Brown's soup on the daily. I've probably tried most of them and they are absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you FB for making quality soups , etc.”
“Like most speciality stores there are going to be some hits and misses. The produce always looks good and is well displayed. They do offer some unique produce. This last trip I picked up some small containers of their bean dip and bacon horseradish dip which were awful and ended up being tossed out after sitting in the fridge for weeks. They just didn't have much flavor. I'll be staying away from the dips for sure in the future. I bought a wonderful loaf of sour dough bread. I also got a peach pie which was fantastic. You could tell they used fresh peaches (at least that is what I concluded from the texture) and the crust was good. It is a little pricey and much more commercial than your typical farm stand but still worth the trip if you are in the area.”
“Love Crosby’s!! However, purchased what I thought was fresh beef today that said sell by Oct 8 (todays the 5), I opened it and it was brown under the where the sticker price is and all throughout the meat. Disappointed, I thought they carried high-quality meats. Would add pics but already threw it away!”
“Always my first choice for grocery shopping. It is sometimes good to go to other local stores. The variety of food and items available change slightly from store to store. One of my local stores offers smaller sizes of meats, which is great when you are only cooking for yourself.”

“I avoid grocery stores as the hustle and bustle gets to be too distracting and loud for me. But this experience, shopping at what I would consider an older Market Basket (I still call it Demoulas!) was fabulous!I feel their selection of foods, especially as someone who loves to cook/eat Italian, is the best I've seen in any grocery in the area.The folks were friendly and I even exchanged recipes standing in the produce section with fellow shoppers!The scali bread is soft inside, crispy outside as it should be! No one makes scali like Market Basket!Our cashier was hysterical and we giggled our way through the checkout line. A nice experience all-in-all and this is where we'll do the bulk of our grocery shopping from now on while staying in the area!”
“Great people there. I always look for Dot in the bakery and Steve in the deli. A couple items in grocery are not always available but it's always a pleasant shopping experience at the Plaistow Market Basket.”
“Great store. a small, tidy crew with excellent training. Since the serrano pepper was concealed within the bundle of kale, I left with it without getting paid. When I came back a week later, I told a staff member that I had used the serano pepper. I then requested $1.00. How graciously this personnel treated me. Thank you very much.”
“Great throwback to a time when every town had one or two good butchers.Nice selection of cuts. They have a walk up window if you need to place a special order or get a cut trimmed up.I was making turkey chili and wanted turkey tips. They had them cut but pre-marinated. Instead, I bought a boned turkey breast and cut that up for the chili. Lots of options plus a small, mini mart (salad stuff and canned goods) for those afterthought extras without having to go to Stop n Slop. Oh, beer anyone? Good selection of beer; traditional, IPA, and other specialized beer. They also have a prepared food section.”
“This store offers a diverse selection of produce, meats, fish, along with a delightful bakery and deli section. The prices are reasonable, and they also take orders for cakes, pastries, and sandwich platters. The employees and department managers are extremely accommodating.”

“While in the Newburyport area, I was looking for a quick bite to eat and this place showed up. I ordered the #2 Paninin which has peppered turkey , genoa salami, provolone cheese , tomato , onion and hoagie dressing. I understand now why this place was so popular. This place is a hidden gem because the panini was delicious! I appreciated the toasted bread and the balance of the peppered turkey and genoa salami was amazing. It was made quickly and I liked the friendly service. I look forward to stopping here while in the Newburyport area.”

“Just moved to Boxford from California and didn't expect the full features of a 'market'. They had excellent fruits and vegetables even in the dead of the winter season. The deli was as big or bigger than most of the so-called 'supermarket', as was the prepared food sections of quiches and pot pies. I found everything I needed and will be back to browse for extras! This is way more convenient than the drive into Andover and there's no good reason to with Crosby's here.”
