This is an amazing place to work out with other ladies and learn effective ways to eat properly. Teddie and Millie are amazing trainers. They will guide you through your workout and always make it fun. They are encouraging and tailor-make your workout to suit your fitness level. GIS Georgetown is a super friendly place too! New friendships are the norm! Give them a try!

I highly recommend if you need help in getting into shape. The trainers are so nice. And help you step by step. Best thing I have done for myself.

I love GISFW in Georgetown. For the first time in many years I'm motivated to work out. The trainers are great! The atmosphere is both comfortable and encouraging.

I attended this gym for awhile but due to the distance to my home, I had to stop going. Nevertheless, I was very impressed by the operations. The trainers were friendly--they were encouraging but strict enough so that I could stretch my abilities. The other ladies were so nice but best of all, I especially loved that the facilities were so clean despite our sweaty bodies!

My life has changed! For a working Mom in her 40's...I was over weight and out of shape. Without getting into my history, I used to run 4 miles a day and 1/2 marathons. For the last 8 years I have been struggling. Something snapped in me and I decided I was done with my current body and the limitations it imposed. I was ready to join and then I sprained my ankle....Christine worked with me and was flexible while I recovered. When I finally started, almost 3 months later, I was ready! Reality is that I struggle with my eating, they gave me a great plan, advice and support but years of comfort eating is hard to break....that being said, I have lost over 10 pounds. Am I where I want to be yet, no, but do I know I will get there with them, yes. Let me tell you the more, a much more important thing....I AM STRONG!!!!! It took me 2 months to do the plank for 1 minute...and boy was I celebrated when I finally did it! My goal was to get more active and keep up with my active family and friends. I never hike with anyone but my family...3 weeks ago I hiked the Welch Dickey trail in NH with co-workers, I hiked 2 summits!!!Yesterday I was on a kayak trip of a lifetime and my strong core saved the day! I am still a "curvy" woman and have a long road ahead of me but Tim and Rick will get me there!!!!!!! A big thank you to them! I would love to leave the review in this note but most people complain about the $$$$....if is expensive....but you get supportive staff, wonderfully supportively fellow members and best of all....the strength to have once in a lifetime experiences! You will not regret it.

This is a place where everyone knows your name! Their program makes me motivated to work out. I don't feel uncomfortable that I'm not super sleek but older and slouchy but loving trying to get better.

What a rip off I wanted to freeze my time and the new owner Lisa just kept on pressuring me to buy more, they lost all the good trainers and replaced them with out of shape trainers who just give you the same workout nothing special for you. I see this place folding very soon!!

BAD VIBE WITH CRAMPED QUARTERS Just went into the Georgetown location for my initial consulation and was sent home by a rude male trainer (Billy) because I did not have workout gear. (I wasn't told to bring any.) I was asked to reschedule for 1.5 hours next week (45 min workout followed by 45 talk) at the same time of day (no flexibility) which required that I leave work early again. (I was not told to set aside that amount of time for this initial consultation.) When I asked if we could talk now even briefly (since I got out of work early and was here already) I was told no in a rather dismissive manner stating that I HAD TO first complete a 45 min training before any discussion or Q&A. On my way out I had to step over a woman who was doing floor exercises. I have no intention of rescheduling.
