Just moved to Boxford from California and didn't expect the full features of a 'market'. They had excellent fruits and vegetables even in the dead of the winter season. The deli was as big or bigger than most of the so-called 'supermarket', as was the prepared food sections of quiches and pot pies. I found everything I needed and will be back to browse for extras! This is way more convenient than the drive into Andover and there's no good reason to with Crosby's here.

Really good variety but the prices are so high.

Been going here for some 15 years. Recently they seem to have had a lot of issues with meats sold past their expiration date. Yesterday the issue was a canned product—a Rao spaghetti sauce that I’d purchased just the day before—whose lid was not under pressure. I returned it intact and asked for a refund ($9.99) or exchange. They refused as I couldn’t present a receipt. I suppose the implication is that customers are trying to commit fraud… But, really, $10?! I must be spending close to $3-400 in there a week. Is that really a smart business decision on their part? It’s not as if we don’t have a couple of other nearby options.

Great little store, everything you need and everything you wouldn’t expect to be there. People complain about price, keep driving and go to the next place if you’re that cheap. Keep up the good work Crosby’s. Convenient, friendly and fully stocked.

The "market" in the name, and not "supermarket," is interesting, as this store has most of the amenities that you'd expect of a supermarket, including fresh produce and even a staffed deli, but all crammed into a smaller footprint. This having been said, I found that the breadth of offerings was reasonable given the store's size, plus prices on most items were similar to regular prices at supermarkets. Also, for such a compact store, there were plenty of staff. An easy in-and-out visit to grab a few snacks and drinks while on a road trip exploring the area.

Everything you could want from a small grocery store. Friendly staff, local products, and good selection. They even recently upgraded all their coolers. Really nice!

Once again this place is so disappointing needed some flowers and a few other items from the fruit and vegetable sectionMost of the flowers were wilted and many of the vegetables had fruit flies flying around them. I told an employee about it and she said that's all we have. The products should not even have been out for sale. Horrible horrible horrible zero stars if I could

If passing through Georgetown, I try to stop in to see what new interesting items they have stocked to treat myself to. Being a pricey pint eater, I picked up new to me local Bart's ice cream for $6.99 (Big Y $6.99, Whole Foods $8.29) and found my fave the rare Lake Champlain chocolate bar Spicy Aztec. As of 09/2022, there is a 5% senior discount on Tuesdays if you ask for it.

Everything in here was dirty and old/stale. Prepared pasta salad was moldy. Grabbed a jar of sauce which had a sticky goo on it which got all over my hands. Noticed the whoppie pies had a foreign substance stained on the plastic container they were in so I switched it out at checkout. I'm turned off and won't shop here again. Can only guess the people stocking the food are dirty don't have clean hands. Also they'd rather sell their stale prepared food to make money instead of throwing it out. Gross place.

I am a senior citizen, semi retired, and shop here regularly to bring prepared foods to my disabled husband on days I don’t have time to cook. I’m in the store approximately 2 to 3 times a week. I bought a prepared lasagna, a prepared meatballs and sauce along with random groceries. I heated the lasagna in the microwave and tasted it before giving to my husband to see if it was hot. I almost vomited, it was rancid. I looked at the date and it was 3 days past the sell by date. With my husbands health issues, he may have gotten seriously ill had he eaten this. I returned the next day with the receipt and explained the $5.00 lasagna was bad. I had another carriage full of items and just wanted the lasagna deducted. The acting manager said she could not do this without the product. Seriously? You want me to bring the smelly lasagna? Am I not here enough that you don’t trust my word? Am I trying to bilk Crosbys out of 5 bucks? I’ve had other items from the prepared food section that have been rancid recently and I’ve simply thrown them out without complaining. But, it’s too frequent now and it’s not like the products are inexpensive. Crosbys is going down hill and I will no longer shop here after this treatment.

Great little local grocery store. Little pricier then bigger chains but they are convenient and have a little bit of everything including beer and wine.
