Unfriendly staff. Slow to assist. Stand at the front chatting between each other instead of acknowledging customers and take their time to finish their discussion before ringing you out. Out of all the locations that would benefit from a self checkout, this one needs it the most just so you can actually get rung out in a timely manner.

After a night in ER I checked the Rite Aid/Walgreens hours to see when I could get prescription filled at the Gardner MA store. Site says open 8am. When I got there pharmacy was closed. Clerk stated pharmacy opens at 9am and Store at 7am. When I stated that would be good to know online, she implied it did.I went next door to CVS and had prescription within 10 minutes. I will never step foot in Walgreens again.

I love the pharmacy staff here!! They are always so friendly, helpful and kind. Each time I’ve come in to pick up my prescriptions (About once a month), they remember my face every time and already have it ready for me! (I think that’s a huge plus). The front end staff here are super nice too. I prefer this store over the one on Main st, because let’s be real.....there main st location sucks, especially the pharmacy. Anyway, I give a thumbs up here ?

Since the changeover it’s taken 2 days every month to get a prescription filled plus an hour on the phone, usually over 3 or 4 calls, to get a person who can give me a ready time so I can arrange transportation for pick up only to find it’s not ready.
