It is so refreshing to have the folks that we interact with and need assistance from at the post office be so polite and truly helpful. I've lived in many different areas of our great country. I say this only to point out that I've dealt with many different postal employees and many post offices. The Gardner community has a great crew of knowledgeable, friendly, and truly helpful staff to meet our individual needs!

I complained about missing mail, and now not one, but TWO Credit Cards did not show up. I had to call the Credit Card Company and get them to FEDEX it to me. I get mail taped to my door that was delivered to the wrong box. I get other peoples Mail, including Doctors letters in MY mailbox. I accidentally opened a few because they were in MY MAILBOX. I don't always look to see if is actually addressed to me because I live alone and is SHOULD be for me if it's in MY Mailbox. I unsubscribe from Junk, but yet get the flyers in MY box although addressed to someone else. I've even had mail never arrive, even though it shows on Informed Delivery. This PO should be gutted. From the top down, they just don't care!

Couldnt deliver my package because of an inch of snow on the porch and sent my package back before i could get time off work to pick it up. Mind you it said no where on the slip they left that there was a time limit to how long they keep packages. Woman at the counter was nice, but indifferent to the issue they caused and offered absolutely no assistance. I cannot believe my tax dollars go anywhere near this awful program.

Called ahead to see what info we need to renew my son’s passport, they said we just needed his old passport, turns out we needed his social security card and our licenses as well. Had to go home and grab it after asking what we needed ahead of time.

Honestly only have an issue with one person working there. I think it's Joy or something like that. She always seems to have attitude or something anytime she helps me. The other ladies are wonderful though. Like I try to be polite and have a conversation, but she either ignores what I'm saying or just gives a one word answer. Not very customer service friendly.
Honestly dread having her help me at this point.

Thanks to them I got a refund.. This week is different. Gifts for my granddaughters birthday. Cannot be replace because they sold out. The post office tells me that they delivered it to my mailbox. So where is it? They have the keyjeHaving lived in Cambridge with people with high integrity. I am slowly realizing how poorely managed this post office is. Mail woman for Richmond/oak street constantly complains when she sees me shoveling my driveway that the mailbox isn’t shoveled out yet and this time requested I move my mailbox. I find it unprofessional and I don’t want to be bothered. In the future just don’t deliver the mail until the mailbox is shoveled out.

Drivers are obviously lazy because a lot of packages never get delivered and say it’s an address problem when name and number is on the mailbox and it’s easier for them to skip it and I lose my packages in the system

Regardless of what your feelings are, or your policy, unless there is an extreme circumstance requiring so, a mailman can not stop a resident from getting their mail. Having an open box is not an excuse to be rude and hostile and tell me I can't access my mail. Even the management at my complex was surprised by the callousness. I have never in the year and a half of living there had any issues with my mail. Denying me access to mailbox, accusing me of lying, yelling at me from across the floor, and then threatening to report me and talking to my landlord about it was above and beyond inappropriate when a simple, "I understand what you have done in the past with other carriers, but I apologize I do not feel comfortable right now so if you could please wait while I finish I'd be happy to get out of your way so you can gain access to your mailbox" would have sufficed. If it REALLY was that serious of a policy issue for him, he should have handled it with respect and maturity. What he did today was above and beyond unprofessional. Period.
