They recently made the aisles smaller. Two people cannot pass each other in the same aisle. Place is too dark. Belts & men's ties on same rack. Gentleman that works there is very nice...and friendly. The place definitely needs better management. Actually the place needs a different LARGER building.

This is a smaller thrift shop with mostly clothing. Of that I would say 80% is women's clothing as usual for thrift stores. There is a smaller area of various items such as small appliances, cookware and books. Good bargains can be found here if you visit on the right day.

No reason anything should cost this much at salvation army , especially for regular old kids clothes. Dirty, dark and the woman at the counter was rude . Hadn't been in 5 years or so and won't be again.

I like the smaller size of the store. The 1st aisle definitely needs better lighting, it’s super dark. They used to pull the “sale color” items early in the week so you could never find any. Now that Debra moved there as manager, they leave the items on the floor longer. Some things are over priced as at any thrift shop. I ALWAYS find stuff when I go.There are barely any housewares in this store. Great place for clothes though.

Since when did the Gardner Salvation Army turn into a retail store? I see a number of dresses marked at 49.90 and 89.90. How is that donation prices?

Not as many items as in Fitchburg.. Prices a bit higher as well...not as clean.. But if you seek electronics or furniture, this is not the place ...few items..overall, I'd give it a pass

When will Salvation Army stop using staples for the price tags + essentially ruining the clothing?

This Salvation Army is, in a word, alright. Some things are crazy overpriced. They get a lot of clothes from ZARA- new with tags just over produced, clearanced out, & slightly damaged- and keep the ZARA tags on. They don’t re-price the items, they just say it’s half of the amount on the tag which means things can be up to $40/$50 if the original tag was $80-$100. Kind of ridiculous prices for a thrift store. Not to mention since they do not re-tag the items, they are never on sale. Probably my biggest and only complaint about the store aside from the home section being very small.

I called to find out a time that I can drop off donations and I got threatened if I drop it off they will report me because of my license plate information and all I wanted was a time when I can drop off, screw them now, I will take it to the dump or burn the stuff first.

While in the area today, I stopped in for the First time. I've shopped other S.A. stores, but not this location. Entering from the parking lot there didn't seem to be any stairs? Only a ramp. Once inside the layout seemed odd too. But then I noticed signs with arrows regarding the many departments. ..that was helpful. The inside of this place has seen better days. But everything is very organized on racks and sized -again helpful. . The prices were exceptional and I found some amazing deals. Checking out was a breeze and the cashier was very friendly. I wish it was closer to where I live. I probably won't return unless I'm out that way again....
