I like Shaws. However, Their prices are out of control! I mean, come on, Lay's chips WAS 3.49 for a big bag. I went to get them and now it's 6.19 for a bag. Ridiculous. No, I didn't get them.. also BEWARE of their Raspberries.. They freeze them. When u go to use them the next day, they are mushy and start to get moldy! I buy organic, and they are NOT cheap. It's a disgrace. Spoke to a man in produce, and he told me they come in frozen off the truck. I think BIG Y has the best produce. Beware is all

Continually raising prices. U rewards are a joke. Same as sale prices to the pubic.
Meat department need’s training. Packing meats with huge fat in the underside so you cannot see it which adds to the total weight you are paying for.
Deli department staff ignore customers and they do not acknowledge the crowd waiting for service.
Greed personified!

Felt extremely uncomfortable at the self checkout today. Whoever was “helping” the costumers approached me and grabbed my tomatoes abruptly telling me I had the wrong code for the item. This could have been done in a much nicer and polite way. There was no need for that kind of treatment.

Don't get any pre made meat items here. I just got the cordon blue chicken baked it, was absolutely disgusting.i threw most of it in the trash. A few weeks ago I purchased the tri tip and it was mostly tough fat. So expensive just throwing money down the drain for certain items. The pork loins are generally good but the steaks are horrible cuts covered in fats and grizzle that you barely get any meat off them especially for a 12 dollar steak you'd expect more. The steak tips are just as bad. I will never buy meat here again. They do have a great bakery. Never been disappointed there. But save your money. Go to big y they actually have a quality butcher.

WENT IN THE STORE AND GRABBED A FEW THINGS INCLUDING THIS THAT I TOOK A PICTURE OF STATING THAT ITS EBT ELIGIBLE AND YET THEY TRIED CHARGING ME TAX ON IT SO THAT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE PAID FOR WITH CASH INSTEAD OF MY EBT CARD AND THAT IS INCLUDING THE NIGHT MANAGER SAYING THAT THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS STICKER ON ANY PRODUCT BEFORE AND CONTINUED HARASSING ME ABOUT IT UNTIL I WENT BACK UP AND GRAB LIKE TWO OR THREE OTHERS AND TELL THEM WON'T WANT YOU SCAN THIS ONE SCAN THIS ONE BECAUSE THE ONE I HAD ONLY HAD HALF THE UPC CODE AND THEN THEY THOUGHT THEY COULD CHARGE TAX ON THE ITEM UNTIL I FINALLY GOT ANOTHER ITEM WITH THE SAME STICKER AND AMOUNT AND REMEMBER THAT THE STICKER SAYS EBT ELIGIBLE SUCH MORONS
