Monnick's has been our go-to hardware store in Framingham for 40 years. The paint department is quite special with a very large selection and very knowledgeable staff.

very handy neighborhood hardware store. it's a shame all the big box stores killed all these local hardware stores . Somehow Monnick has survived.
The history of Monnick supply Co. begins in 1948 in Framingham Massachusetts. Two Brothers, Nicholas and James Montalbano, along with three cousins, Theodore, Gregory Sr., and John Montalbano were looking to supplement their income and decided to open a small paint supply store. They shared in the duties of working in the store while holding down full time jobs. They got the stores name by using the first three letters of their last name Mon and combining it with Nick the primary founder of the company.
