Used to be a great place to swim laps. Enjoy waiting for one of the two lanes to open while the rest of the pools and lanes are marked off for kids to splash in

The place is rundown and mismanaged:1) sauna door handle fell off and nobody cares2) sauna today was 120 degrees and the temperature was falling down. Reported to front desk. Someone came 1,5 hours later trying to restart. All this time people were coming in and out frustrated. Putting a door sign that sauna is out of order would be much better customer experience3) the caddies holding shampoo/shower gel are falling off the wall4) some light bulbs are off5) the dirty towels overflowing6) chunks of hair everywhere: sauna, showers…7) the locker doors are loose and missing partsI used to enjoy coming for a spa day but if this place does not improve I’ll be looking elsewhere…

If you wanna pay $240 per month and don t have enough access to the pool, this is good choice for you. They reserve swimming lanes for training groups and ignore the interests of permanent members. This is damn hard to find free lane for swimming! Administration of this gym is only interesting how to charge your money. Also, many members in the locker rooms visit jacuzzi, sauna and steam room without swimming trunks. Were the staff who need to control it? Some of the equipments out of service very often.I think for this monthly charge they must to provide better service!

I’ve been a member for 2 years and they just randomly increased my dues. I rarely even go to this location!!! And if I do it’s to just use the steam room…

I have no problem with the gym and the staff is friendly, BUT me and my boyfriend are paying $300+ and the locker room and gym space is filled with underage kids running RAMPANT. I go late to avoid this because the staff clearly wants it to be a kids only gym, however my most recent experience I went at 10pm, there were several staff members in the locker room, no one said anything. There was a 3 year old kid SCREAMING bloody murder for 45 minutes, then the mom proceeds to leave her infant on the other side of the locker room while she goes and does skincare and the kid is screaming, trying to go thru my belongings, mother busy staring at her own reflection. In addition to that, had several teens taking photos in the sauna while I was using it with a towel. This was only in one night and is definitely not a singular occurrence, something like this happens almost every time I visit. Seems like no basic manners are expected or enforced by staff members. They should really enforce anyone under 18 to use the family only lockers rooms.

Great culture and community. Family friendly. Lots of amenities, classes, equipment. Certainly the fitness country club but in a fun community non-pretentious kind of way. More like it enables you to have everything you need at your finger tips so you can achieve your fitness goals.

I joined this lifetime in 2020 because my regular gym was a COVID casualty. My membership fees have increased like 25% while the value has decreased. They’ve cut back hours and group classes.Pros: Jennifer and Neal (I love their spin classes). I never have to wait for equipment for long.Cons:Their class scheduling is beyond stupid. They’ve cut the Saturday morning strong cycle class, the Thursday evening edge, and the mid Thursday morning class as well. If you don’t want to do silly choreographed AMP classes, your only option is to join EDGE on Tuesday at 6am. Same issue with yoga classes. The younger night staff, if they’re even at the desk, is always on their phone or talking to their friends and act annoyed that you need to check in.Heavens forbid you go anywhere near their private group sessions (and they take up a lot of space)…The trainers will treat you like scumTheir bathrooms are beyond nasty so dont think you can come workout and shower before your workday. They’ve inflated dues and only added premium services you have to pay extra for. Is this gym worth it? Absolutely not. But your only other option in the metrowest is la fitness. Pick your battle.

Obviously it’s a good gym but one of the trainers is a bully.I was working out my back. When working out your lats and they start to get swollen and sore you have a hard time putting your arms in a normal comfortable rest position. It looks strange. One of the women trainers started to impersonate me and make fun of me to another trainer. I think she thought I was trying to act “big” or tough. Trust me when my lats are sore I can’t help it.Point is bullying and teasing should not be tolerated at a place of improvement like a gym.I don’t want to complain or report this trainer because the crime doesn’t fit the punishment. If a lifetime employee reads this maybe you can tell your trainers to do better.

LIFETIME METROWEST is the worst of all the Boston lifetime locations. The customer service is below par. The management is non existent. When they inexplicably overcharge you, they don’t tell you why, and there’s nobody to talk to. All you get is a sequence of voicemails, and nobody returns your calls. Ever! This club is not being effectively managed.I’m not sure who is in charge of scheduling the yoga classes, but they really should be fired. The class scheduling makes no sense! It’s like they create the schedule around the teachers convenience with no regard for the members who want to attend the classes. They will schedule a heated yoga flow with the next class being a beginner route class directly after. So the people come in the next class have to deal with body odor a wet floor with sweat and they don’t clean in between classes. It’s unsanitary disgusting. Most yoga places that offer hot yoga will clean the sweat covered floors in between classes! Why do they keep raising the membership fees to astronomical levels, but they can’t even clean appropriately? Have the hot heated yogurt after the normal class so nobody has to deal with the unsanitary conditions. Fitness center that charges these rates really should be much cleaner.Needless to say, I’d you join LT Metrowest, expect it to be dirty with some machine parts being held together with electrical tape and there is always a machine or two that is inevitably out of order for months at a time. There is no standard here and yet they keep raising the price. Expect to pay a lot more than what they originally tell you when you sign up as a new member. Even my young children complain about how dirty the children’s area is. Save your money and don’t go to this location where they overcharge your card and then ignore you when you try to rectify their mistake. I will complain to the MA Atty General’s Office.

I’m a new member here only starting two weeks ago. Already I’ve been telling my friends and family members that they have got to try out this gym. Since my tour of the facility with Barry to my interactions with Shayna, Sandy and Jo who all teach different Aqua aerobics classes, to all the different staff that I’ve run into, everybody has been personable, encouraging, knowledgeable and such fun people to meet and get to know. The amenities in the locker rooms are terrific, the class offerings are in abundance and the programs available would suit anybody of any age or gender. So happy to be a member here and this is from someone who hadn’t exercised in years and hated to get up early to workout of any kind. Life time is the best!

I’ve been member of this gym almost 3 years. You can find almost everything in this place. I mostly go to this location for squash. They have outdoor pool as well which is one of the nicest part to enjoy your summer. They also have indoor pool for different age groups. Overall it’s my favorite gym in Massachusetts because I can find everything I’m looking for. If you wanna experience and give value of your time this is the right place for you.

My family of four has belonged here since the Pandemic when Boston Sports Club in Waltham closed (RIP BSC…loved that place!)I find Lifetime to be the most soulless and annoying experience every time I’m there. Most days, I work out in my garage to save time, but want to be able to leave the house and use advanced equipment on the weekends. Every visit to this place is excruciatingly frustrating, particularly because of the group workouts taking place in the few areas where individuals can work out. On top of the gymwide music, the group workout instructors show up with ginormous speakers blaring with people who completely take over the entire space. And the multiple studios are also blaring their own tunes on top of it all.No matter what time I’ve been there—morning, noon, or night—I’m unable to hear my own headset or find a confined space where I can do a curcuit. I go out of my way to find the one empty spot and inevitably some instructor and one or more clients edge me out entirely or pull up right next to me in a way that I have to discontinue whatever I’m doing and find a new spot. Beyond the noise pollution, the personal space violations are like nothing I’ve ever experienced.I’m determined to open a new gym at the intersection of 128 and 90. If anyone else is as frustrated as I am and interested in creating an alternative to this sensory assault that I can’t believe I’m paying for, I’d be happy to be a very active investor. There’s a market for people who want to work out in a nice place with space to do what you want to achieve, and this isn’t it.

Amazing gym. Hot yoga, amazing facilities and amenities such as sauna and hot tub have solved my neck pain and weight loss concerns. Membership motivates you to go and if you go to one class a week it's worth it plus all the amenities! Bmi calculator is pretty cool too.

This is a beautiful gym but they do not care about people. Only money. I have cancer and am being treated for it with chemo and immunotherapy. After getting COVID I cancelled my membership via email ( as directed). However they have conveniently lost my email and are charging me the monthly fee anyway. When I told them I cancelled email because I was sick they wanted me to get a note from the ER doctor( yes the ER doctor) to prove I was not fit to exercise. I’ve got COVID, cancer and in the ER! Despite my proving I was actually there, they want a note! Are we in high school? They are greedy and don’t care! Just say NO to this gym!
