I worked with Eric to design a custom stained-glass window for a door. He created a number of concepts based upon my vision for the project, and the final product was amazing! I really enjoyed working with Eric and extremely happy with the window.

We asked Eric to repair a crack in a decorative window in the entryway of our 120 year-old victorian. He was extremely responsive and very easy to work with. He promptly came to our house, assessed the window and damage, reviewed with us what the repair would entail and discussed different options with us, and provided an estimate of the cost and time required. The end result was better than we had expected given the age of the window and the unique skillset required for the repair. We were extremely pleased with Eric's work and would not hesitate to hire him again if the need arises.

i make historic reproduction wooden entry doors for the historic buildings in downtown boston. i needed a stained glass expert and i took my time shopping around and interviewing several artists. i chose eric and would wholeheartedly recommend him for all of your stained glass needs. his price was excellent. he delivered on-time. the stained glass panels that he produced for two doors were top-notch. my client was very pleased and so was i.

I had the great pleasure of working with Eric Mauro recently on some original artwork for an extensive renovation of my kitchen. This included two beautiful stained glass panels for my cabinet doors and a painted tile mural as part of my backsplash. Not only were Eric's works incredibly beautiful and a wonderful artistic addition to my new kitchen, but working with Eric was a collaboration of genuine pleasure from beginning to end. From our very first meeting, when Eric was sketching as we talked, the ideas and nuances of design and color began and then grew and grew with a “back and forth” communication between artist and client that produced stunning works in the end that both of us were pleased with.Eric has an artist’s passion and attention to creative detail, but he also had the intelligence and thoughtfulness to match the artwork successfully with the practical and functional needs of a busy kitchen. His artwork brought a unique quality to my new kitchen that made it both deeply personal to me and brings a smile to me and to all my friends and family who enter the room.I would engage Eric again without hesitation for any artistic projects in the future. We had a great experience working with Eric. The stained glass window in our front door had been broken. It wasn't possible to repair it, so Eric reproduced it from scratch, and it looks exactly like the old one! Thank you!

I contacted Eric to rebuild a stained glass shade for a beloved lamp. Eric suggested several options and understanding the sentimental nature of the request, set about to find the matching glass. He did a flawless job repairing a stained glass lamp that my daughter-in-law's cat pushed off a table. He had to redo the metal top as well as replace the broken glass. Beautiful, reasonably priced job.
I have done stained glass myself, but this was beyond what I felt I could do.

Eric is a skilled artist, craftsman, and preservationist. It is in this last capacity that I know him. Given the scale of some of his other projects, I approached to him with a relatively minor request. I had a small stained-glass table lamp made by my grandfather that had been knocked to the ground once too often by my preschooler and cracked in several places. I was ready to say to myself, "Nothing lasts forever; it had a good run," when I decided I would see if it was possible to have it repaired. I got in touch with Eric and he responded immediately. I took the lamp to him. After a week, he'd found glass to match the original. It was so seamless and pristine as to be brand new. I am so glad I reached out to him and so grateful to him for his work.

Eric responded immediately to my request for a quote for a stained glass window repair, scheduled the repair at the earliest possible time I could accommodate, stayed in constant communication, didn't mind my cats poking their noses into his work at all, and didn't charge me extra when he went a little over his quoted time. Highly recommend!
