I am a physician and had a good experience with Jenica in Customer Service. She assisted me and my patient in a complicated order. I am very appreciative!

I have had 2 experiences with Boston Heart Diagnostics. Both were good. I would just like to acknowledge the fine work of Jennica who so efficiently and professionally helped me today .

As a physician, I am appalled by lack of customer service and care given by this company. I was billed for a lab study that could not be completed. They agreed to refund my money. I have made 9 calls speaking to various reps who said that it would be taken care of. This started in Aug of this year. It is now the start of Dec. This is ridiculous. Finally, one attempted phone call yesterday with a hold time of 15 min before I hung up. Two attempted calls today and each time on hold before the call was dropped. How do you run a business like this?

Boston Heart has been so wonderful to me and all of my patients. They offer amazing heart health testing like the cholesterol balance test, HOMA IR for further investigation into a diabetics glucose and insulin relationships, has been amazing for me to better guide patient treatments. This lab is also more affordable with and without insurance, for patients. Their open fee schedule allows me to show patients the price list, ahead of time, so they understand the charges they may be responsible for, if insurance does not cover or how much their out of pocket fee will be. They also have a wonderful financial aid program for patients if needed, to apply for help. The staff has been nothing short of amazing, each time I call with questions. They have a great round of professionals to that helped me learn to interpret the cholesterol balance test and HOMA IR w Beta cell function test as I was starting out.I highly recommend them for both patients and providers.

Having the Boston done every year has been vital in helping direct my care and for me, as the patient, make adjustments to my diet and lifestyle. The standard panels your primary doc runs for your physical don't tell you enough of what ACTUALLY goes on in your body. It's like the Cliff's Notes of Chaucer's works and only talking about The Canterbury Tales.Nadine with CS has been extremely hands-on in helping with posting results and reordering the test after FedEx messed up the delivery. She's always very responsive and will find solutions and/or answers to what you bring to her.A great company for your lab work!

My job as a physician is to bring the very best science available into the exam room to serve each patient. Biomarkers must reflect clinically significant changes, show whether a patient is getting better or worse, and be well-researched and scientifically grounded. I need test results to be presented in a way that’s easy for my patients to understand, easy to relate to.My patients identify with those red, yellow and green boxes, because getting out of that red zone and into the green is one sign their efforts at prevention are working! With Boston Heart I get scientifically validated diagnostic tests performed in a lab committed to bringing the most advanced cardio-preventive tools available to the clinician and then teaching clinicians how to use them. That’s why I’ve been sending diagnostic tests to Boston since 2010.

Boston Heart Diagnostic Labs have set, in my opinion, the industry standard of assessing cardiovascular disease. The combination of showing the relationship between cholesterol metabolism, cardiovascular inflammation markers, glucose metabolism and diabetic risk as well as genetic markers for cardiovascular disease is unsurpassed. Beyond that, their proprietary tests regarding a patient's fat levels and cholesterol assessment make Boston Heart Diagnostics unique and far more thorough than other lab companies. Ultimately, they have made my life easier in treating cardiovascular disease and has enabled patients to take control of their healthcare.

Boston Heart Diagnostics lab reports are the most useful tool we have in motivating patients to follow their personalized medical plan in lowering their risk of ASCVD (atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease). Every patient wants to get out of the red and into the green. The Cholesterol Balance Test often reveals solution to their lipoprotein problems. John Patrick Stein, MD

Love boston heart! They offer labs that tell us a bigger picture of health than the standard basic labs. Their labs can tell us all about how the heart, brain, liver and hormones are all connected to each other. I have learned so much from boston heart and have recommended them for years!

Boston Heart Diagnostic Lab testing has improved the health of both myself and my patients. I have been doing deep dives into the cardiometabolic health of patients with personal or family history of heart disease for years. The results are given in a very clear manner which is extremely helpful in teaching my patients about how inflammation, glucose metabolism and of course lipids all contribute to cardiovascular health, and I can then suggest concrete ways to improve their health. For those wondering about payment, I suggest calling the billing department before you do your labs. They can give you the CPT codes which you can then ask your insurance company if they are covered. Many insurance companies do cover BH (such as Medicare). As a physician, I highly recommend this company!

I use this company all the time for myself and my patients. The rates for out of pocket are great. If I have any problem, I reach out to my representative (if you are not a doctor, you should ask your doctor's office to do that, especially to solve any payment issues). The only glitch we've had is needing to ship samples early in the week in order to make sure all tests can be processed properly. I am surprised to see all these negative reviews as I have been using Boston Heart for almost a decade and have not had patients complain about them.Just to be clear, I have no relationship with them other than I order tests for my patients (and myself when I need them).

At an initial visit, my new doctor told me she was sending lab results to this center and that I would get a statement -- that the cost would be "accessible." Two days before my fu visit, I contacted the doc's office to report I'd not heard from BHD. They gave me BHD's number and suggested I call. The person I reached w(c)ould only tell me I owed $150, which she offered to take right then; she said she could give me a link to see my bill, but that it would not identify or itemize the tests I was paying for. I told her I would pay after seeing the doctor again, then, and knew what I was paying for. I made sure they had my contact info so they could get in touch with me if they had any concerns. At that point, she told me that until I paid the bill, the results would not be released to the doctor. That's reasonable, I suppose, but then they should be willing to give the payee an itemized bill (if not the results, as well). No real choice -- I paid the bill, sight unseen, and hope the doctor has the results when I go to my next appointment. So THEN... I used the link to access the bill. The link required birth date as verification - so far, so good - but the site would only accept that date when I selected it from its calendar. The starting place was Nov 2021. The ONLY option was to go backward, one month at a time, until the right mo/yr showed up. I was born in 1945 -- you figure out how many clicks that would have taken. God willing, I will never do business with BHD again. To give the call center contact some credit, she's not responsible for BHD's policies or website -- she remained polite throughout.

Had an awful experience with this company. They charged my son $343 for a covid test, waited a year to send the bill, and were impossible to work with re payment. They went so far as to threaten that they would report him to the IRS for supposed money sent to us by his insurance (which we never received). They should be ashamed of themselves for they way they treat their customers.
