I went to return an item which I brought too much in quantity. The service person name Chris was helping me. While I was return, he asked me to verify my information on the touchpad. I did so but it also asked me to apply for a BJS credit card which I didn’t asked for. I confronted Chris and he just returned the product after. That is not at all acceptable. He didn’t even asked me if I wanted to apply for a credit card! If I didn’t read the screen and pressed yes, I would have applied for a credit card without me knowing!!

This store is terrible. The front desk supervisor Joel V gave all sorts of weird logic as how Bjs is a grocery store and they follow grocery store rules. Well sorry i don’t pay membership fees to go to a grocery store. Treat your long term members with respect otherwise you may not have members at all. There is a reason Costco membership is way higher than BJs as they know how to take care of their members. After 20 years of Holding BJs membership, i am now thinking if its worth it. But then except for this BJs i didn’t have any problem in other stores. Train your employees better before taking away customer convenience.

bad experience with a man at the door looking at the receipts, he embarrassed me after I spent 400 dollars and he told me that I had not paid everything. The people looked at me when I came, other people looked at my receipt and said that everything was fine, sorry but It made me feel sad. They should have people who know how to count and read well.

This BJ’s store is fantastic . It has so many fresh produced items with lots of options that we love at reasonable prices. I took my time and walked through each aisle. I saw a clean, bright and wonderfully executed store. Loved the bakery items and freshly available fruits . Hats off to everyone involved here, a really nice shopping experience.

Been a member for 20 years with a credit card. Every year upon renewal received a $10 credit until the card was transferred to Capital One. My wife called 2 months ago and was told it was no longer done, but as a it would be done 1 time. She called today to see it was not done and she was told there is no record. The customer service rep just plain lied. He just wanted to get her off the phone. There is no recourse as BJ's customer service is thousand of miles off shore. All we can do is tell you and let them know they lost a one time loyal customer

Criminal. I was at Bjs today and waited 20 minutes in line at the deli, only 2 people ahead of me. There were 2 associates working there. They were taking forever. One Black employee while cutting meat had headphones on, singing to himself and a really old white guy, very slow, ignoring customers, I dealt with the black guy when it was my turn to get cold cuts. His English was not that good. He really didnt seem to care about his job and it seemed it was more of a chore than anything to deal with people for him. he asked if the other guy was helping me, which was strange as he just called me up to him. Then asked what i wanted. 2 different cheeses, which he did fine. A long line formed behind me and the other guy was already taking other customers. He asked if there was anything else i needed. So I stated BBQ Chicken. I was then told he wasnt doing meats only cheeses. I said "what is that, what do you mean only cheeses, I waited 20 minutes in line. I am not waiting in line again for meat" He then said ok, what is it you wanted again. I said BBQ chicken. He then doesnt take the BBQ chicken from the back rack. literally where the other white guy had put it back after slicing it for a different customer. Nope, he took it from the corner of the room and near a sink started doing something strange with his hands. He then slices it and hands it to me, Its a few dollars over the 1 pound amount i asked for , I start walking away but open it because for some reason gut instinct tells me somethings wrong. Inside the bag its slimey chicken thinly sliced (i asked for thick) But Slimey? thats like week old chicken, it was disgusting. there was white all around the chicken slices that shouldnt be there like soap or something. had no idea what it was. This guy had tampered with the food. I was and stil am pissed. This food was for my kids I never once was nasty to this guy, but he literally is trying to poison my family. I am beyond livid and it took a lot for me not to reach over the desk, i work on my anger issues but boy was I boiling. I went to the manager at the front desk. A Hispanic kid maybe in his 20s. Asked me the issue i told him and he took a picture, saying he would talk to the back. I am harnessing all my patience at that point. Asked me to identify, told him its a black kid with headphones. But I am thinking he's going to talk with the back? Really, this is a crime, tampering with food because he was too lazy to do his job and got irritated I asked for meat slices? , This is a job for Police and OSHA at this point. The manager told me he that "yeah I wouldnt eat this, definitely something wrong" Yet he never went to the back he stood at the front while I helped my father buy his groceries which took us 10 min. I have hated this place for a long time because of their lack of customer care but they literally tried to poison me and my family. I have never made a complaint before at any place. I have PTSD and was in the military. I was proud of myself for not doing anything rash but mad that this wasnt taken more seriously, I was pretty calm but it irritates me more, the more I think about it. I should have taken pics and called the police. Don't think I could step back in there if I saw that guy working behind the counter again They do not care about customers here, They do not hire competent people . I threw away my card tonight. Never going back. I plead with anyone that shops here to think about this post. If they dont care what happens to a stranger and the food their employees tamper with, why take the chance to shop here if they may do the same to you and your family. Just dont shop here. The reviews are already bad for this place its for good reason

I have made online take-out order and later called to confirm time I’m coming to pick up. When I come my order was under “Preparing” status. I waited for 10 minutes until my order just disappeared. Nobody could find my order even I had a message from BJ’s with confirmation number. Later I must wait additional 15 minutes for my order but when I came home my order was incomplete (missing some extras)

Hey BJs, this review is for the person working at the exit signing receipts. It is an extremely uncomfortable experience - The man literally will watch everyone go but will stop you and check the 100 items and cross verify with the receipt one by one if you look Indian or (person of color I guess). This should really stop and reading the reviews I was not the only one to go through this experience. If you're from Indian origin, pay a little more and buy a Costco membership. It will save you from this awkward and infuriating experience each time you shop.
