I purchased my oven and refrigerator from Automatic Appliance and both experiences were great! The people in the office were knowledgeable, and helpful, and delivery was right on time. Don’t bother with the large chain stores, (I tried one and they didn’t show up or call). Buy from these folks!

I called them to inquire about replacing the glass cooktop on our electric range and they got back to me quickly. They provided a very itemized quote (part cost, shipping and tax, repair cost, etc.) and included the cost of replacing the whole range so we could make an informed decision about whether to proceed with the repair. In further conversations, I was encouraged to call the manufacturer again (we'd gone down this road without luck) and we were able to have the cooktop replaced at no cost through the manufacturer with this guidance. Truly stellar customer service from Joanne and Pam! That said, I'd happily purchase an appliance from Automatic Appliance Service in the future and/or consider them for repairs. I feel like it's unusual today to find such incredible customer service AND honesty and professionalism in a company.

My Whirlpool refrigerator wasn't cooling even though the freezer was working fine. I went through the usual basic diagnostics (e.g. fan, condenser, vent, etc) and didn't have any luck. So I decided to give AAS a call based on the positive reviews. I spoke with Joann and she was wonderful and was able to schedule me in quickly due to a cancellation. Bob (technician) arrived at 9:38am the next day and left by 9:47am. During which time, he took one look at the freezer cabinet and saw a light coating of frost on it, and proceeded to research the cost of replacing the associated components (~$550) that may or may not be at fault (didn't even pull the fridge out from the wall to look in the back). When I inquired about the diagnosis, he said with his 42 yrs of experience, this is how he has always done this type of repair by replacing all of the potential components. Mind you there is a flat fee (~$100) associated with this visit, and I am more than happy to pay it if I feel the technician at least made an attempt on any kind of repair. If I hadn't ask a few questions during the visit, I am certain the entire duration would have been 5 minutes or less. How would you like it if you take your car in for repair, and the technician "looks" at your vehicle and says you need a replacement of internal parts. I feel guilty writing this as this is a family owned business, and it appears you have worked very hard to build your reputation. However, as someone who is inclined to read multiple reviews before attempting any contract hires, I feel the need to post my experience to level set your expectation.

Absolutely made the right choice on buying from a quality local dealer such as Automatic Appliance. Their customer service is outstanding as today I put cup in wrong way making door unable to close. Jim was here in a few hours and showed me the problem. Outstanding installation and great people at store.Support your local dealers.

Automatic Appliance is the absolute best! We've purchased a new refrigerator there and they worked closely with us to make sure that it would fit into the space in our kitchen.Our wall oven died about a year ago. It is over 25 years old, so parts are no longer available for it.We went to Automatic Appliance and selected a replacement for it. Jim came out to measure the opening to be sure that the new one will fit into the cabinet. That weekend, Jim called to tell me that he had the part needed to repair our old wall oven. He installed it the following week.We have been very happy with our experiences with Automatic Appliance, and have enthusatically recommended them to friends and family.

Every appliance I have purchased for the last 15 years has been from Automatic Appliance. Their responsiveness, attention to my needs and devotion to customer satisfaction is exemplary. If I call with a problem, their first response is to help me fix it myself at no charge. If I do need a new or replacement appliance, I can be certain that it will be delivered and installed promptly at a price that's competitive with the big box retailers.Joanne, Jim and Bob's knowledge of the products they sell and service is voluminous and they will always take the the time to explain their recommendations. They're also just nice people you want to do business with.

Super great help from family member of the owner. Jim was fantastic. He sold me our dishwasher AND delivered and installed the new one. They have been in business over 60 years. Wish I knew of them sooner.

Joann is an incredible help and made the process VERY easy when we were in a pinch to get a new dishwasher. The right model, style, etc to meet our requirements and quickly solve our problem. Highly recommend them over other appliance stores in the area from the search experience.

There is the old saying that time is money. I don’t have the time to spend running from store to store to compare models and price which is why Automatic Appliance is the only place I go to buy my appliances. Jim is knowledgeable, courteous, fair and his staff are just as wonderful as he is. They offer a great selection of brands and Jim has been been invaluable in helping me select the right appliance for the amount of money I want to spend each time. And like Jim, I am a small, local business owner.
