Doing a deck replacement and found their pricing for composite boards to be competitive. Dave in sales was very knowledgeable and responsive, found him great to work with. Paul maneuvered the delivery of 20' boards like it was nothing. Very pleased with my experiences.

Guys, why would you try to sell me a piece of board lumber for $75.00, when I found the same length at another local lumber yard for $26.00? I needed 3 lengths and saved $150.00. Love your company but need to comparison shop from now on.

I like Chace, but prices can be a little high for products sold inside. Lumber cost tends to be pretty much average.

I had an old steel Therma-Tru front door that needed replacement. I have typical "homeowner ability" when it comes to DIY projects around the house. My local Therma-tru dealer treats homeowners as a nuisance, as they prefer to deal with contractors. I reached out to Chace and spoke with Jennifer. She was able to get me a perfectly matched door slab. I just had to prime, paint, install hardware and screw in the hinges. Perfect Fit!! I suggested that we do the same for my back door, because the double-pane glass was all fogged. She said "why not just replace the glass?". Didn't even think that was an option. Gave her the measurements and within a few days, she had me a replacement glass. Chace has become my new favorite store. If you're a DIY'er, they're easy to do business with, they know what they're doing, and they act like they want your business.

Start to finish terrible experience. Began the process of getting a replacement window 4/20/23. I finally received it 6/8/23. I had to chase people down for updates/assistance and at one point was told, "Sorry, it slipped my mind". Very frustrating. Probably would have been better off at a big box store.

My husband and I have been shopping at Chace Building Supply for nearly 30 years, and we always have a positive experience. Mark has worked with us on several projects. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Over the past couple of years, we have been renovating a multi-family home in Dorchester, and Mark has been especially helpful in working with our contractor on quotes, making product recommendations and setting up delivery to Boston at a very reasonable cost. When we needed to order replacement windows and sliding glass doors, Mark referred us to his colleague, Tom, who specializes in these products. Tom quickly got back to us with a quote, placed our order and set-up delivery. When one of the door handles arrived damaged from the factory, he immediately ordered a replacement from the manufacturer. Mark has helped us keep this big project on track with his prompt follow-up and great communication with our contractor. I highly recommend Chace Building Supply. Not only does it feel good to support a local business, the quality of their products and customer service can't be beat. As a bonus, a knowledgeable person answers the phone when you call, without a tedious phone tree!

They have been very fair on pricing and easy to deal with as they supply lumber for 4 dugouts that Tri-County has been building at Wrentham Sweat Fields. I have been very happy with their professionalism, pricing and responsiveness. Our rep Mike has done a great job. He is on the job site often, whenever Tri needs to do a big order for the next dugout - he is there providing excellent customer service. I am so very thrilled that we decided to go with a local vendor rather than a big box retailer.
