“Great place for kids to check out the latest. I stopped in for my daughter to check out graphic novels. More available newer titles than the local libraries. High Five books has a few more things than books, and appeals to our youth. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Great pricing. Nice atmosphere. Wish the parking lot was larger.”

“My son is a student at UMass-Amherst and recommended this bookstore to me when I visited him. What a classic used-book store! Nothing but books, books, books. Very quiet. Very extensive collection of both commonly found used books and some very uncommon ones, include some nice collections. I highly recommend! And I will be back.”

“I am so thrilled that someone has stepped in to take over running this store, which has been a favorite stop for decades. So many independent bookstores are gone now, and to take this on with they energy and style that the new owner has done is admirable. They’ve made a ton of progress bringing back a place that was long languishing, and are bringing new life to it with things like music, etc. Great selection, and I’ve seen some changes in a place that formerly didn’t have much movement of stock. Will everyone agree with everything they post or promote? I WOULD HOPE NOT! That’s how ideas work, and a bookstore trades in the diversity of ideas. The rest is commentary. READ.”

“I visit once a year to fill up on books for grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. I am never disappointed, and neither are the kids. I refuse to frequent the box stores that exists to squash small independents and limit my choices.”

“"What's that, Mom?!"
'It's a book store, dear.'
"Uh...What's a book?"

Oh, what you miss if you don't read. The great smell of ephemera is worth a trip any day to B&N.
Still doing their best.
Lots of competition online but you really need to hold and see certain books before purchase”

“Great college bookstore. Useful supplies without wearing out the ole purse strings. The mechanical pencil section is beyond adequate with several graphite gauges, erasers, et cetera.Love the merch! We obtained several shirts and hot beverage containers --- all way less expensive than attending school there, and much easier to get in. You simply pull the door open.”
