RC Excitement is a hobby store that seems to specialize in RC cars. They do have an airplane and a boat section, but they are really small compared to the amount of cars that they sell. There are ample amount of staff, and they are very helpful. They also have outdoor and indoor tracks, and can rent you a Crawler (they don't rent out bashers) to use on their crawler track. Overall, a must visit if you live within half an hour or are passing by.

This is the best RC store in the area by leaps and bounds. There isn't one bad thing I can say about this store other than I wish there was a second location closer to my home?. Everyone in this store is so helpful and they have so much in stock you'll be amazed. Not to mention the awesome racing and crawling both inside and outside. This place puts on amazing events as well!

They were super nice to me when I went there. I was having an issue with pairing my controller and when I brought it they were able to identify the issue. They even let me test out one of their crawlers to better learn controls. Overall great place.

I have been to RC excitement twice. My first time on there off road track which has some type of super hard packed clay, I ended up stripping a servo and breaking a rear control arm which I was at fault for. When I brought the car up for parts they were very helpful in selling me a servo($80) and a rear control arm ($10). I also bought a servo horn($17). Being a rookie driver I knew I was up for some break’s especially on that track. My second time there I was out on the track for less than 5 minutes before I broke the D block on my Losi buggy(holds rear control arms. When I brought the car up for the part they did not have it. I explained I drove an hour from Salem and this would end my day. After determining I was SOL the employee goes behind the counter to show me a skid plate on the back of his car and tells me without it I am amost like to certain to break the D block every time. Why he never mentioned selling me a skid plate after I broke the control arm the first time is beyond me only for the fact I would damage my car again and end up having to buy parts off them. Crummy sales tactic if you ask me. It was also nice of them not to offer me a refund on the 15 dollar entry for the track which I spent a whole 3 minutes on. I walked out of there with my head hanging low as the kid with the long finger nails wished me a nice day. All all this track is not for amateurs and very easy to damage to vehicle and you will get zero help or suggestions o how to set up your car. However, the store it’s self has a great selection with good prices.

Went there this past weekend and Howard is an asset to the place! He gave me a tour of all the tracks and even made spending money relatively painless lol! He even promised not to tell my wife how much I spent! Great staff and alot of stock! Will be back. Oh and loyalty program that is wild, after 6 purchases you get a store credit for 10% of the value...heck yeah! Thanks again Howard and friends and see u guys soon with my track passes!

Great RC shop. They recently expanded the store and it’s like three times the size it used to be. Extremely helpful staff, prices that are just as good as online prices, plus a loyalty rewards program where you get 10% back store credit after you make five purchases. They total it up and issue you a gift card. I’m lucky to have this place so close to where I live.
