We love Preppy Pets. The new owners are fantastic and had already been there working in the business before the transition. They have always been very responsive and always called or emailed if there was a concern or problem. They have always taken great care of our dog, in both daycare and boarding.

Needs to update website that they are NOT taking new pets. Such a shame cant help but wonder if my pup was denied because he suffers from epilepsy and is on medication. He really is such a great puppy. Staff was unhelpful in letting me know if there was even a waitlist… truly disappointing

It was disappointing to hear Diane was no longer the owner of Preppy Pet. Whenever ownership changes nothing seems to go well. I stayed with Preppy Pet for the last 10 years even though I had a dog that was bitten and died due to attack and poor treatment at Preppy Pet Fitchburg. For some reason we kept going back with our new dog, mainly because we like Diane. Fast forward to now, I specifically told them that I don't like my dogs in day care and they should be boarded only. This was our policy because our dog was killed because it was bit by a large dog at day care. We have min pins so I don't like them around the big dogs. When I dropped my dogs off last week I made sure it was boarding only. Today when I picked them up she told me I had to pay for day care and boarding because that is the rule now. If you board you have to pay for day care also. Either way Preppy Pet is in the wrong. They either charged me for day care without giving them day care, or they put my dogs in day care when I explicitly told them not to. I've also brought my dogs there boarding several times a year. They also have a new waiver to sign saying if your pet gets hurt you are responsible for the fees. I wasn't going to mention it but our other dog broke her leg in day care before we instructed them to only put our dogs in boarding. Again, Diane was great she covered thousands of dollars worth of charges to fix our poor puppies leg. The new ownership has the attitude that if your dog gets hurt on our watch, its up to you to pay.I struggled to write this email after 10 years of the ups and downs with this place. The only reason I didn't up until now is because Diane is a great person and truly loved our dogs we we knew that. This place is now all about bringing in as much cash as possible. Our dog Lola was killed in April of 2014 at the age of 6, we rarely have a day where we don't mention her.

The staff is fantastic! It’s the only place I feel confident bringing my two dogs for daycare. I know they are safe there and well taken care of. They both had baths on their last visit and they did a fantastic job.,,, they smell great- nicely brushed out and nails nice and short. Excellent care each and every time they go!!

Mr. T loves his doggie daycare here! My only wish would be more outside grass areas. Also, great selection of high quality food and treats.

We love Preppy Pet and our dog Byson always comes home exhausted. The staff really cares about the animals and they all have huge hearts. What I like most is that they don’t crate much at all. You can count on your dog being wiped out and exhausted from playing. Awesome place!
