“We got a recommendation for Dave's Auto Machine to work on our X50 Volvo. Dave is amazing. We showed up at 5:55pm (he closes at 6) and he took the time to talk to us, look at the car and give us invaluable information. He knew what was going on with our car's turbo, so he referred us to his friend's place, Anything Automotive. He said Jeff, Adam or Mark would be able to help fix our turbo. They were so awesome. We spoke with Mark. He checked out our car, got the parts ordered and fixed it in less than a week for $650. FIRESTONE had it for over a month and quoted us 2500. When we went to Dave's Auto Machine, he said he just had a customer who came from Firestone with a similar issue (they are less than a mile from each other). Hope this helps.”

“What can I not say about this place? The receptionist is now my best friend in the entire world, the work done? Phenomenal. I would recommend A &P auto in Fitchburg to anyone who needs help. My 2017 Subaru engine went while driving and I was towed there , completely in disarray and was met with nothing but kindness and support. Great service and super fast, dropped my car off for a oil change and front end inspection at 8am and they reached out within the first hour with a front end diagnosis, we went ahead on brakes and it was done before noon. 4 sets of pads, 4 rotors plus the oil change did not break the bank. Easy location to get to aswell. Definatly my go to mechanic now.”

“Nick is the guy to go too, honest, reliable and he also noticed the AC compressor in my Honda CrV was brand new , after I mentioned it wasn’t cooling properly. My old mechanic placed in a used compressor ????after charging me , a brand new. On calling the old mechanic, he did admit , it was used. My old mechanic was able to replace it, to brand new. I then brought it back to Nick n since he recharged it, it’s been cooling so much that I enjoy it so much, when the weather hits 80-100 degrees.
Nick also confirmed , the AC inside my car is brand new????

“I needed a charge, potentially a tow, a couple towns over from Maynard and was quoted a reasonable timeframe. The person who arrived was really nice, and suggested we give the charge a couple tries before loading up the car. Sure enough, he got it going and all was well. Less expensive overall and really kind service. Would definitely recommend!”
“Ron and his team did amazing work. The gaps between panels are even, and you would never know the car was hit unless I posted these pics. Millennium Yellow is a very hard color to blend & match to 20+ year old paint, so it took slightly longer than originally expected, but they nailed it. 10/10 will be bringing my other corvettes there when the time is right.”

“I work here in fitchburg but live in ny. I got an alignment done at my home. I went to get an alignment with a straight wheel. When I left ot was off center to the right. Went back and they adjusted it and it was twice as bad. Went back and they re adjusted it back to off center to the right. Did not want to go back for a 4th time so I took a chance and had Jay's do an alignment and first time my wheel was perfect. Thank you. Will go back for more repairs.”

“CAP has been a good auto parts store I've used on and off for years. Now they are linked with Amazon. I looked on Amazon for a spark plug for my garden tractor. Before checkout I noticed next to Delivery they had a Pickup option. Selected that, picked it up the next day, and the price was even less than if I got Delivery. This should be good for hard to find wiper blades also.”

“I would highly recommend Tom’s automotive. A few weeks back my radiator blew so I had my vehicle towed to Tom’s. I had them put in a new thermostat as that needed to be replaced as well. I got my car back and drove all the way to work again and it overheated again. I called and talked to Mike and he had Aldrich come all the way to Andover to pick up my vehicle and paid for the tow and everything. Turns out the (brand new) thermostat was junk if you can believe it. Tom’s was amazing and stood by their workmanship which was not their fault… couldn’t believe it and would highly recommend them. I truly hope they got compensated by the manufacturers warranty on the junk thermostat as it was not Tom’s fault whatsoever.”
