Dr.olmstead paralyzed my dogs paw after performing a spay because he used an outdated practice of intramuscular penicillin injection. He propped her up and fixed her paw to try to hide it, until I got to the car. I caught it as she had to use the bathroom outside, and his answer was "oh, oh well, must of hit a nerve." Zero empathy and zero concern. Also offered a discount if I paid cash, this was to avoid paying taxes because he would not document it to the IRS. No receipt or paperwork was given. Bay State emergency room vet informed me that this should be handled with litigation, all the vets recommended this route after seeing my dog paralyzed. Spend extra money and go to an updated hospital from this generation, with top tier doctors, that have computer files and records and stay knowledgeable in the updated practices of this generation.

We just moved to Falmouth and needed a quick appointment to address our retriever's conjunctivitis. Dr. Olmsted was accommodating, quick, a pleasure to work with and charged a reasonable fee. He clearly has a wealth of knowledge and we feel so relieved to know we have Dr.Olmsted in our corner.

I’m so grateful for the quality and compassionate care that Dr Olmstead provided for my dog, Andre. We’re new to the area and Andre became incredibly sick very quickly. Dr Olmstead saw him right away and started treatment, answered all my questions and calls for guidance and advice on his care, and had Andre feeling himself in no time. I’m so relieved to have a kind and trustworthy vet close by!

Dr. Olmsted was very friendly and so kind and gentle with my Max. My dog was having terrible itching and hot spots and we couldn’t get anyone to see him. We were on vacation in Falmouth. But the Dr saw him the same day. We come down here often and hope to establish a relationship with a Vet. This will be the place for sure.

My 11 year old dog Lola hadn't been to the vet in a while and Dr Olmstead was great with her! It was easy to book an appointment and he had a great bedside manner for a well-check and made me feel at ease, too. We'll definitely return for booster shots in the future!

can i give a 43 star review?? Dr Olmstead has, been the best vet we've ever had .He knows us very well , hes treating our little old cat who has cancer .He's compassionate, staightforward and honest. He's doing everything he can to help her. I trust Dr . Olmstead so much I'm moving my 2 other cats from another vet who ive had for years 2 West Falmouth Vet .You feel like a old school Dr.Pol is taking care of your fur babies
