I totally messed up my forwarding address, and the people working in this post office went above and beyond to help me fix the problem. So grateful to them!

I have wondered for weeks why we are getting almost no mail. Finally figured out this week we are MISSING mail. I went to the post office yesterday to mention the issue, the manager said he'd talk to our carrier. Went back today with pages and pages of printed informed delivery emails from the last month that show mail that was never delivered. The manager gave me every possible reason for the problem except a possible mistake on the part of his office: previous post office, out of state processing (never mind that most of the missing mail originated in Massachusetts), maybe our landlord was checking our mail, etc. When I asked before leaving if there was at least anywhere in the building it could be, he checked the holds, AND OF COURSE THERE IT WAS: 2 MONTHS WORTH OF IMPORTANT MAIL. I don't understand why he didn't think of this before I asked. The manager seemed embarrassed about the pile of mail but not apologetic. Their only explanation for the accidentally held mail was "If the house had sold they may have thought your name was an old owner." This makes no sense, as we are renters, the house had not been for sale for years, and we had set up mail forwarding to GO to the address when we moved to this house. Low and behold, the pile contained our drivers licenses that were sent a month ago, several bills that had become late, a $99 check, a college orientation packed, and a bunch of health care notices that resulted in denied health coverage that I will now have to re-apply for. Mistakes happen, but I'm leaving a one star review because of the lack of due diligence when the issue was brought to the office, and because of the impact this has had on our family.

Great post office!! I had two packages go missing for my wedding bridesmaids proposal boxes. Mike called me immediately upon putting in a request at USPS. He was so helpful and patient? Not only did he do the box that had gone missing going towards East Falmouth he even did the box search report for one going to Dallas for me. Excellent customer service! Just to compare, I haven't even heard from Dallas yet so I am very impressed with the service here.

I think everyone who works there is great. They know me and my address by heart as I am having a lot of books delivered to me by different used book companies. (I am a huge reader of science books written by scientists for the general public.) I am always happy to see and talk to them.

We have a house in Teaticket and I ordered a package that UPS was supposed to deliver. In some sort of agreement with USPS they gave the package to USPS who returned it because "address unknown" because I don't have a mailbox. I spoke to the postmaster and he was supposed to send me the regulation that explains what "address unknown" means. It's been weeks and no reply. UPS and FedEx are how I ship now!!

Said package was undeliverable. No one knows where the package is eventhough it was at this location last.

For some reason the postal carrier keeps returning items as undeliverable not a valid address. 60 years the house has been her and the past 2 weeks nothing is getting delivered!!!!

Thank god for the US Postal Service! Some people may whine and cry about the service when people make mistakes, as is expected with human error.. but seriously? People are going to whine and cry and leave a 1 star review because they had to drive to pickup a package once? This post office is full of hard working and amazing people that dedicate countless hours to making sure the postal service keeps running!!

Very specifically to the person complaining about their amazon package issue, blame amazon. The people here do their best from what I've seen. I am often disappointed that my amazon orders get pushed anywhere from 2 to 5 days out, but I'm not out here getting mad at the USPS. Logistics on the Cape are HORRIBLE in general. But also expecting anyone at the END of their shift to fetch something for you that is buried, is childish. If the roles were flipped, you would be the same way. If it was so important, have it shipped to an Amazon Locker.

I live in E. Falmouth and this is my first time using this post office. I will never go again!! I tried to call to speak to the Post Master, but there is only one phone number listed for all the post offices in the whole country. Jeff was working behind the counter and apparently didn't know we were in a pandemic, as he was without any PPE. Wear a mask, Jeff! He wasn't even trying to pretend to have one around his chin, or in his work station. Meanwhile, while I was there four other people came in that were in their 60s and one actually turned around and walked out after looking straight at him, and deciding it wasn't worth it. Do better USPS.

Was waiting for a amazon package that was out for delivery then at 7 noticed it said package was tried to be delivered on my amazon acct and the driver put that driveway was not accessible when it was accessible. Today I went to the post office to get it. Doors were closed and locked which I figured because on Sundays there closed but saw workers out back loading the trucks so went behind the building. Asked someone what happened. The man I spoke to asked the other drivers who had our route and they all said uhhh that was you to the gentleman. He went inside get my package and came back out empty handed and said it’s under a pile of packages and I don’t have time to go through them and look. I pay for amazon prime to get quick shipping and the usps makes it not worth it. Horrible horrible horrible postal service in East Falmouth.
