Visiting the quiet side of the Cape? This is the place to stay!! The inn is lovely, very clean, quiet and an easy walk to all Falmouth has to offer. We parked the car for our 3 day stay and walked to shops, restaurants and Woods Hole along the beautiful Shining Seas Bikeway!! Breakfast got us through the day all the way to dinner in town. The owners, Tom and Billy are super friendly...we had some great conversations...the kind of people you'd love to sit and have a beer (or two) with. They took time from their busy schedules to help us plan our days and provide info on local eateries and bars. We actually ran out of time to do some of the things we wanted to, like take the ferry to the Vineyard. Also, there is Brody, a dog and a half, the sweetest boy ever. I always like staying where there is a dog, it gives me my dog fix and it says a lot about the owners. Dog people are the best!!Thank you so much!!!!

The Palmer House Inn is very quaint; it is like visiting and staying in your own family home. Everything is done to make you feel special; like you would do for your own family and friends if you had guests. The owners are very hands-on and the and the staff are very accommodating. It’s just a lovely place to stay, and I encourage you to stay here when you visit the Cape Cod area.Rooms: Rooms are very attractive and kept clean.Nearby activities: There are lots of shops and galleries to visit.Safety: I felt safe here; I did not feel like I had to constantly look over my shoulder.

Fantastic place to stay on the Cape. 5* experience. Great location a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants, bars and icecream parlours. Also just a few steps from a great museum. In the heart of the historical centre of Falmouth. Excellent service from everyone at the Inn. Nothing was too much trouble. We particularly enjoyed lounging on the beautiful veranda. So comfy and relaxing! Thank you Tom, Billy and the gorgeous Brody!

A perfect stay in a traditional colonial home, cosy and quirky, comfortable and ever so friendly. Oh and yes the breakfasts are amazing. Great location on a quiet street, yet around the corner is the Main Street with interesting shops, good restaurants and the beach just a 15 min walk. Enjoyed a day exploring the Shining bike way and a trip to the Vineyard on the Island Queen.

I can honestly say The Palmer House Inn is the nicest b&b I’ve ever stayed in. It’s impeccably decorated, clean, has an excellent breakfast, and is in a marvelous location. Billy and his staff are so helpful and pleasant. We traveled all over the Cape and I found Falmouth to be my favorite spot. Do yourself a favor and book here for your Cape Cod visit!

My husband and I loved staying at the Palmer House Inn in Falmouth on the way home from Martha’s Vineyard. One of the owners, Tom, and all of the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. One of the dog-friendly rooms in the adjacent guest house was beautifully decorated and the lovely king size bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The breakfast served in the morning was exceptional, the best we’ve ever had when traveling, with accommodations made for allergies/ food intolerances, as long as guests make these known to the Inn, and all dishes were made to order. Sample foods the morning of our stay included a great omelette, oatmeal, fresh fruit, sausage, buttermilk biscuits and very good coffee. Our small dog was very happy and the owner’s very large dog - almost the size of a bear cub - was gentle, friendly and delightful. We hope to be able to stay there again, and preferably at least 2 nights, because it is easy to walk from the Inn to downtown Falmouth to explore. The Inn’s brochure mentions tea and pastries or baked items are served on the porch in the afternoon, and there is a garden and small dog run in back of the guest house.

Very well run B&B. Proprietors extremely helpful with "insider" information on the Cape. Rooms are small , named after authors. 3 course menu for breakfast with buffet on our weekend. There was a marathon road race and cold water bottles placed in cooler outside. Very considerate. We had daily maid service. Our room was on 3rd floor, a bit of a challenge with heavy luggage, they did offer help. Very impressed.

The Palmer House Inn is great. It has everything you want from a B&B. Beautiful building with lovely decor. Comfortable rooms. Delicious (and abundant) breakfasts. Beautiful grounds & a front porch full of rocking chairs. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Falmouth Main Street with lots of restaurants & shops. A 1 minute walk from a bike rental place & a minute ride to the Shining Sea Bike Path. About a 5 min walk to catch the shuttle to the Woods Hole ferry. They provide tea, coffee & cookies all day/night. The owners, Billy & Tom are very gracious & helpful. We did their Martha’s Vineyard picnic package, I highly recommend it. We stayed in room 9. The bed was really comfortable & the shower had lots of hot water & water pressure. It was very quiet, we slept well. Great place to stay!

Wonderful setting and conclusion to our 35th wedding anniversary tour through Atlantic Canada and eastern seaboard. Tom and Billy gracious hosts always quick to respond to queries and great recommendations on local restaurants and things to do we have the town and east walk from the inn amazing as we shopped, dined and wines and beered! We also took the shuttle and ferry to Martha’s vineyard which loved and shuttle pick up just minutes from inn by foot. As for the inn the history, attention to detail, considerate touches so impressive, the breakfasts so delicious and the staff’s service and care were so appreciated! We would love to go back as so much more to explore on the cape, and no better place or people todo it from!Rooms: Romantic, spacious and comfortable. No detail or amenity spared.Walkability: Inn within east walking distance of shops, restaurants, bike rentals, and shuttle to ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.Food & drinks: Breakfasts fresh, delicious and special considerations provided for diet restrictions and allergies.
