I was so impressed with Art's work. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. He provided me with his CV and his credentials are impressive. He was able to not just appraise my piece but give me a very interesting history on it. He's like a gem whisperer... :-) He took his time and wrote up a wonderful and inclusive appraisal. I found it easy to make appointment, he is friendly, and most important, qualified. He did my engagement ring and band appraisal on the spot and walked me through all the elements. He also sent a detailed report the same day. It is clear he loves what he does and cares about providing the highest quality of service. The appraisal was more expensive than generic internet quotes of $100-$150.
