I love this non-profit organization! I moved to Fall River less than a year ago and was looking for a friendly, welcoming environment to take yoga classes. The Heron studio is definitely that place. I have taken classes with Jessica, Luna, and Ruben and they are all great and teach unique and relaxing classes. I am looking to get more involved and take other holistic health classes. :)

I have taken Universal Yoga and a couple of other yoga classes, and love the welcoming, laid-back vibe. This is a great community to join!

This YYT program was rich in valuable material and information, abundant with hands on practice and real life applications, and held the most supportive and loving space for the depth of the healing work I was doing. Jessica, the Instructor, is just amazing in the way she empowers you and supports you to rise. I have never felt so welcome to show up exaclty as myself, and to have developed such meaningful relationships. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is seeking "God", knowlege of Self, or just wants more info on yoga, meditation, and/or how to safely and ethically instruct Yoga.

I dont even know where to begin with writing a review. how do you review the last 2 years of my life, the most amazing two years thus far, thanks to finding the Heron, and it becoming my home. the studies, class time, intimacy , education, practice., the PEOPLE,.. everything. all are welcome, come as you are. there is so much room for creativity here and you are actually honored for your gifts and part in the community. thank you so much to the center for being a part of my dharma, and becoming a place I call home. whether youre thinking about doing the 200hr yoga teacher training program, taking a class, or popping in to a monthly sangha , there is something for everyone. I cant recommend The Heron enough ?

I took my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Jess and it was the best experience of my life. We went over so much more than yoga and I left a changed person. Whether you’re looking to teach or expand your knowledge personally, I highly recommend this course. Also, if you just want to take class, try it! It’s extremely reasonably priced and pure bliss. Thank you Jess and Heron team.

I take yoga all over the place and very much enjoyed the style and mood of the Westport studio. Very welcoming and accepting of all ages and bodies! Everyone here is like family. Just what yoga should be!

I am one of the graduates students for the Yoga Teaching Program for 2020 and I have to say that I am extremely grateful for have found not only a community, but a place where I was supported as I went thought my own growth. The Program itself will give you the basis to build your own personal practice as to teach others. From the foundation of what yoga really is, the 8 limbs of yoga, Dhama, asanas, anatomy, practice teaching and much more! ALL the support will be there as you go. Jessica and Allison, the teacher and the teacher assistant, has done an amazing job navigating these times we have lived in. They went above and beyond to make sure we had all and everything needed in other to move forward as we will be teaching others to do the same. And, it doesn't end as the program ends, if you chose so, you can be part of the community, either by volunteering, going to yoga classes, participating on the events, supporting the wild life project, you name it! the list and the love goes on! Namaste <3

I could go on for days about The Heron. A wonderful place to practice; there are classes for everyone. The classes here take care of your mind, body and soul. All the teachers are lovely and you will meet some wonderful students. I would strongly recommend it for people new to yoga who may be intimidated by some of the “trendier” places. But also great for experienced yogis looking to deepen their practice. Did I mention that the prices are super affordable, making yoga accessible to people of all financial situations?

My favorite studio in the area by far! Restorative Yoga and Sadhana Yoga Basics are both such rewarding classes and Jessica is an amazing instructor. I regularly attend Kripalu Yoga with Silvana which is a wonderful way to start the week and her teaching style is very calm and centering. Basics with Peter is a great class for the beginner, he is very kind and interested in the needs of each individual student. The Heron is a wonderful studio for those interested in the spiritual side of their yoga practice, I love it there.

Nice atmosphere. Nice instructors. I've been to Catherine's class on Monday evenings the most. Each instructor is different in how they do their class so it's nice to try them all to see what best fits you.
