I had Dominic as a technician and he was awesome! He came out to my place of employment and completed the service in a timely fashion. He was great at communicating and keeping me up to date with progress and such. Had my windshield replaced 2 years ago through insurance with no issues. 3 days ago I came out to my PARKED CAR and saw that the windshield had cracked from the top down into the drivers side. Called Safelite to discuss warrantee and it took more than 10 calls to reach a real human that did not hang up on me. Scheduled an appt for today, with a guarantee that warrantee work is free for the life of the car, and the tech claims there is rock damage that is not there. Refuses to utilize the warrantee and instead offers an insurance appt where I'd need to pay $500 to fix a windshield that randomly cracked while parked when I was at work. No crash, no rock, no other damage. Absolutely asinine. Will never use this service again.Service: Auto windshield repair

Absolutely terrible customer service. I had an appointment a week ago to get my windshield fixed in my driveway. The technician came out and told me that I would have to bring it to a body shop because there was rust under the windshield. OK, so I found a body shop and left the car there and let Safelite know. The technician said he was on his way there, but failed to update me at all throughout the day. I finally called the technician on his number at the end of the day. He said he was just waiting for the body shop to finish but he wouldn't have time to do it that day and would be back the next day. The next day came and no update from the technician. I called his number and got no answer. His voice mailbox was full. I tried calling the company. Everyone I spoke with was completely unhelpful, and some were just outright rude. My appointment was not even showing up in the system when I tried to inquire since it was technically the day before. They told me it was my responsibility to coordinate with the body shop, even though the technician told the body shop he was coming back. The body shop said they were done and just waiting on him to come by and finish. I called the company again and they said that the body shop would have to call them, even though I just told them that the body shop was just waiting on the technician. Now, I am still waiting on my car and both me and the body shop are very frustrated. I wish I could switch to another company to get this finished and I will never use them again.

I have never used Safelite Auto Glass but I can tell you right now the people that work there that live down the street from me are horrible they take their work Van's home and park on either side of my driveway blocking my view of getting out it's a hazard and they will not park somewhere else I've called the company and complained more than once and nothing has changed. And for that reason I will not go with the company. Other than that I've had other people that I know use the company and have had no problems. I have included pictures of what my view is like when the vans are there vs when they are not.

There were two of their employees fixing my neighbors truck windshield they were pulling in as I was pulling out before I got in my truck I dropped some bill money two hundred dollar bills when I came right back to look for it they were watching me look for it mocking me whistling letting me know that they had it and wasn't going to find it !it terrible people!!! Cannot trust the people they hire!!! This was today in Westport! Go elsewhere!! Share this!!!!!! Don't want them working on my truck!!THEY SUCK!

Surprised by some of the other reviews as I had an amazing experience!My new windshield was beautiful installed and then suddenly my backup blind spot monitoring stopped working. Safelite coordinated a new appointment under warranty with no issues.... They did a diagnostic and the codes showed nothing was wrong but they kept working to try to find what was wrong... Come to find out, the sensors were just covered with salt/dirt!So kind, professional and accommodating when I was frankly very pushy since it stopped right after and I was sure it was the windshield lol.They cleaned all my sensors when they didn't have to.I will continue to use these guys!

I was recommended by my insurance company and I'm glad I listened to them I got there 5 minutes prior to my appointment time I was greeted I explained who I was they checked me in and about 5 minutes he told me it would be 60 minutes to 90 minutes I was out of there in 15 minutes I will definitely return to them again if ever needed

Had them replace my windshield and one week later the rearview mirror fell off. Trying to schedule a warranty replacement is like pulling teeth.

Pretty good overall .I generally like small family owned businesses over chains and kind of wish I could do it over .Basically good job but missing the little things that make me feel better about the experience .
