Used to be a favorite but has gone way downhill. Moldy sausages, moldy artichokes, slimy chicken. Meat packed so badly that everything leaks.I saw the brunette with long hair see a tomato on the floor, pick it up, and then put it back on the produce display. I bought it and threw it in the trash in front of her and she said nothing.I contacted the manager and asked for his email. He gave me his GmailAvoid.

We usually stop in to pick up stuffed grape leaves, couscous salad, and feta cheese. The feta wasn't out so a very helpful employee offered to go in the back and get some while we continued to shop. Gave us the opportunity to really look around and compare prices to where I normally shop. There was a great deal on chicken leg quarters and ground beef plus many produce items not available at our regular grocery store. Decided we really need to start doing our regular grocery shopping here.

BEWARE!! I’m sorry but how does this store have good reviews at all??!! This store is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE! I usually check the dates but on this flat bread I bought they had no date, which is should’ve known was suspect! Also any food they have in their own containers STAY AWAY FROM, it’s almost guaranteed to be old! This could be a great store because they have so much variety but selling people old food or being to lazy to restock with fresh food is why is store won’t make it! The flat bread I bought from there I made my husband a sandwich and realized when I went to make myself one it was full of mold! I used to come here when it was Daou Market and always had those same issues, so I would only to there for Pita Bread (they would have delivered wkly) and the Garlic spread which this store still sells. I have since started making my own FRESH garlic spread and Pita bread they now sell at stop and shop! I will never shop here again! I can’t believe no one has gotten food poisoning or very sick from this store!!!

Wouldn't go for the baked goods, they looked stale, but the variety of goods is great! You can find anything there. Veggies, canned goods, frozen foods, etc.

Consumers beware. The store does fraudulent transactions if a customer pays using Electronics Benefits Transfer funds. They will have items that are placed throughout the store which are grocery staples and these items ring up for more than 10 times with the actual value or market price. I became aware that this business is running a racket and I'm on to their sneaky, illegal business tactics. There are store clerks that completely that customer service skills and profile customers based on appearance or race. A lot of the produce isn't fresh and is packaged in a way to hide that it is rotten. I found a lot of the items in the store aren't fresh and are dusty because they have been sitting there. I don't trust the sale by or used by dates in the store, and I have reasonable suspicion that there are counterfeit food items being sold. I have been watching and investigating this business for some time now since they opened in my community and I am sharing my Intel with the public and making sure that they are no longer able to abuse consumers and this city. If you choose to shop here, know that you have better options. Pretty much everything here is overpriced and you can get a much better deal at market basket. This place was formerly Daou Market the store operated very differently then. They steal, commit benefits fraud, the store isnt clean, and the food is either fake or not fresh. If you examine expiration dates on the goods you'll easily spot that something is off. You've been warned.

They have plenty of middle eastern stuff, baklavas and similar, very tasty ones. And the prices are affordable.

I didn't notice 'America's' on sign. I thought it was Almeida's Food/Market Basket. In any case, I was glad to finally check it out. It was clean, products were well placed, meats and produce fresh and reasonably priced. Just about anything you need grocery-wise can be found here. Old-time atmosphere where they'll cut your meats and cheeses to order. I introduced myself to the owner and employees to congratulate them and wish them luck. I promised to return often and spread the word of this little gem. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

This is by far the best market I've ever been to. Every thing is so fresh, the meat and produce are amazing. Awesome variety of hard to find foods. The store is amazingly clean and neat, and the staff are very nice and knowledgeable. And somehow, the prices are still very low! My new go to store! Love it, please check them out, you won't be disappointed!
