I’ve been banking with citizens for several years now and I have multiple accounts with them including business. Opening a second location for my business I opened up a new account for this location and when I did I received no new debit card for the new account. Ok that’s not standard but no worries, I’ll just go in an get my debit card. I set up an appointment, sit down with a friendly dark haired girl who attempts to print out a new debit card… denied… once, twice and then three times… she says something is wrong with the system lets restart the computer… nope doesn’t work so she says ok let me call it in and order it…. Nope she couldn’t get through… 35 minutes later she says I’m super busy so let me take your account down and I will have this new card for your new account ordered and I’ll just use my own PIN number and then you can be one in and change it to your pin… umm ok that doesn’t sound like proper protocol but whatever ok thanks… by the following day my debit card for my first location was no longer working. Umm what the hell… I have dozens of companies using this debit card to take payments etc. I call customer service and low and behold this chick didn’t order me a new debit card for my new account she simply replaced my old debit card for my original location. Are you kidding me? This branch has lost its credibility and is incompetent. When I started banking there people knew what they were doing, now not so much. This literally froze my business for two days and forced me to have to contact every single one of my vendors to update payment and it was only froze for two days because the girl on the phone over rode what the branch did otherwise it would have been 7 days. Nightmare for a small business owner

Disappointed that you can't speak with a bank teller unless you are a business owner they only allow you to use ATM machine so there is a long line to deposit or withdraw from machine there was 8 people in line ahead of me it was 40 minutes before I was able to make my deposit ?

The tellers not helping people with account transactions is ridiculous?

Honestly the new "help yourself policy" doesn't show respect to their customers making us wait on a line to use the ATM when the tellers are looking you doing it. Ridiculous ✅

Only citizens I’ve been to where you can’t make a deposit with a teller . Even with no line they refused to do a simple task… talk about lazy. When you’re depositing large amounts of cash no one want to use a faulty atm. Lazy and rude only in Fall River

The new policy change that has only the atms accepting deposits or withdrawals, not tellers is a huge waste of time. I just waited in line for 10 minutes for the ATM with two tellers just staring at the customers.

Made an appointment using their online scheduling on their website. Arrived to be told that the online scheduling doesn’t link to the branches so there was no appointment available.Don’t waste your time. Call the branch directly if you need an appointment.New customer, let’s see how this goes….

Not a bank member personally, but I use this branch to send my landlord his rent money. Workers are always upbeat and maintain a positive attitude. My only complaint is that majority wise- you will be waiting a long time to get through the line.

Citizens Bank should be avoided. Their fees are numerous and high, and they use dishonest trickery to get their customers to pay more fees. My experience is instructive: I had been a good customer for six years, but because of a confluence of events, PayPal pulled money out of my account right before three checks came in to clear. That was right before a holiday, and Citizens was closing early even though the day before the holiday was not a holiday in itself (they shouldn't have done that). As a consequence, I couldn't get money into the bank to cover the checks. The checks then came in to clear in the order of smallest to largest, and I should have been charged one $39 overdraft fee; but Citizens re-ordered the withdrawals from largest to smallest so that I was charged three fees. This is what I mean by "trickery". Only the greediest banks use tricks like that to raise money from their customers. If you are looking for a bank, you would be better off at a savings bank or credit union.

Tjey ran out of money at their atm one day. You'd think being a bank 5 meters away that wouldn't happen. Their service is poor. I tried cashing a, check there made out to them and they explained that they are not fully functional and could not cash it. Go somewhere else. Save yourself the trip inside the supermarket and the crazy parking.

Awful management, Felicia the manager has a serious attitude and is extremely unpleasant to deal with. I've been going there a year and a half and first was harassed by her for trying to deposit a check signed over to me(I've never had a problem depositing it before) made to wait and extra ten minutes for her to check company policy about the issue. The second time dealing with her I handed her a check and asked to make a deposit. She responded by asking me to remove my sunglasses I agreed(for security reasons I understand needing to see my face) and put them back on she insisted that I keep them off. I said that doesn't seem necessary and she actually refused to deposit my check mind you this is Sunday and no other branches are open. She cited robbery issues, which to me as a a customer is irrelevant and what robber tries to deposit a check and agrees to show their face?
