“Chris & the girl Chona are two of the nicest customer-service friendly people you are likely to meet. As soon as I entered the store, he greeted me from behind the counter. He thoroughly explained to me why their gasoline is of superior quality, and how other companies "cut" their gas to increase profit. Just ask him! It was a learning experience. And this place is BUSY. A lot of foot traffic. See my pictures.”
“Great little neighborhood grocery store. I've stopped here a few times now on my way to different places and the same two guys always seem to be there. They are always polite and helpful. They sell beer and wine as well, and I believe I heard them speaking Portuguese in case that is your preferred language. Also, they do accept EBT there.”
“I moved to town a year ago and Friends has been a near daily stop for me. It's the perfect spot to stop in for a quick energy drink or coffee in the morning and has enough variety in groceries that I rarely need to go to a supermarket. Their prepared foods and made to order sandwiches are excellent and the staff is also helpful and friendly. A great place if you're in the area!”

“Market basket gave me a bad customer service experience rude non existent manners etc. what a difference buying here. Rare items? In stock. Homemade sausage and desserts? Fresh in stock. Wines, port, seafood salted cod herbs meat steaks ribs fish stuffies. Went in for a Christmas goose came out arms piled with extra goodies. Went back in and thanked the staff for turning my holiday food shopping experience from bad to good. Now I now where to go. You should too. Wonderful.”
“This corner market/deli has been in New Bedford FOREVER! I don't know how many years, but I know a very very long time. Well, I have had food from there through other people's cookouts, etc. but had never gone in there and purchased anything myself. So I finally go there so I could buy a couple of sandwiches. The place was pretty much what I expected. It was simple and sort of reminded me that it was stuck in the 60's or 70's, which is fine with me. I don't judge, plus I love those times. Anyway, we got 2 sandwiches, one a honey turkey & honey ham with just cheese and mayo, and the other being a honey turkey with cheese, veggies & mayo. Both on Portuguese pops. For something so simple and not fancy they were DELICIOUS! And only $2.99 each! Loved it! I will be back very soon for more.”

“Has most of the weekly staples we use and a chance at some special bonus items in the Aldi deals isle. Friendly staff, easy to park, and love the way they manage their shopping carts. Would be cool if all stores adopted that quarter for a cart method.”

“Came home for a mini vacay and while I was here I decided to teach my nephew how to make homemade Sriracha and Ghost Pepper pickles..Found everything I needed at this location including wicked fresh Red Fresno Jalapeno's...All prices for items that I needed were in line with Charlotte, NC...Good selection and very clean store”
