Very friendly staff, great service and prices. I was taken back by one thing though, prior to cashing out my order I asked the register attendant for a couple Nips of Strawberry Smirnoff...his response still has me kind of dumbfounded... Here's what he said. "I apologize for this inconvenience Sir however Nips (of any shape, sort, kind, brand, flavor, etc) are BANNED IN FAIRHAVEN.. I kind of paused for a second and said " can you repeat that, I must have heard you wrong " he said " No Sir you DID NOT hear me wrong, NIPS ARE BANNED IN FAIRHAVEN, as of Jan 1st of this year 2024.. I haven't researched the reason yet but i am about to right now...
So after researching the reason for the ban on Nips I learned that the primary reason is they are extremely easy to drink and toss out a vehicle window adding to the ever growing amount of trash found on every roadside,
Also the following towns were the first in line to Ban them
Chelsea, Newton, Falmouth, Wareham, Mashpee and Brewster, according to published news accounts.

they have an amazing selection of products but the problem is they wouldn't serve me because my son didn't have his ID on him, not to mention my son is in his 30's and looks it. I was buying beer and wine (well I was trying to) and she absolutely would not sell it to me because my son couldn't show an ID. I have never encountered this anywhere else. my son carries things to the car for me because I have a medical issue. the funny thing is, he doesn't even drink. they have a very bizarre policy and that was the first and last time i've been there. I just go down the street where the laundromat is, much better service. the 2 stars are for the great selection they have, too bad I won't be buying any.

I live in New Bedford and from my very first visit to this store I now go out of my way to shop here. The gentleman at the counter is always kind and gives me his undivided attention, making sure that I get the product I am looking for. That goes for the other staff as well. One of my visits, I was looking for Old Smokeys moonshine cherries and at first the clerk couldn't locate them. The clerk chased me out to my vehicle to let me know he found them. He continued to look for what I was asking for after I had walked out. That is top-notch service. Not to mention that they clearly are family friendly as when I bring my children with me, the kind gentleman gave some candy to my kids! Outstanding and not heard of enough. I will continue to go out of my way to shop here because they go out of their way to give me proper customer service.
