“I came to Dudley Automotive Services after hearing good reviews from a friend and posts online. I went in and spoke with Ed. He listened to the concerns I had with my car (brakes were making a "nails on the chalkboard" sound) and was able to put an appointment in within the week. He was able to diagnose the problem and honestly provide a detailed explanation of the necessary fixes needed. He quoted me one price, did all of the repairs within a day (as mentioned), and I ended up paying a little less than expected in the end. Ed was very helpful, kind, and thorough. I will be returning if my car needs other repairs in the future as I know my car was in great hands!”

“I had a very good experience with Forest Auto Repair and will definitely come back in the future for any repairs. I brought in my car for an exhaust leak because I could see a hole formed in the muffler. My car is a 2009 with over 200,000 miles on it but it is on good shape and want to keep it running, but also prefer to not spend a crazy amount on repairs if possible. The muffler is connected to the catalytic converter as a single piece which would be very expensive to replace in kind. Paul, the owner, was a great guy and spent a little time to figure out which muffler he can order and install without having to remove the catalytic converter. He was able to cut the exhaust and weld in the muffler which was much more cost effective than replacing the part in kind as a whole piece.I really appreciated Paul's kindness and flexibility. I came in the morning and they were able to have it repaired that same day because Paul said they luckily had an opening and could get to my car right away. The price was fair, the service was good, but most importantly Paul seemed like a genuine guy who I'd trust and not feel ripped off like I have with other mechanics in the past.”

“I thought my car was totaled when a semi backed into it while making a delivery at PJ Kennedy & Sons. That driveway is notorious! This happened just before Thanksgiving and two weeks after putting in new $500 brakes. I did not have collision or rental coverage. PJ Kennedy gave me the name and phone number of the driver (a worker with no money or power) but not the vendor (whose insurance was actually liable). The detective at C11 was useless. Martin Lynch at M&S offered to repair the frame at no charge, and my insurance’s comprehensive coverage paid for the rear glass with zero deductible. Thanks to M&S, I was able to get my car back. You can’t put a price on that! Ten stars all the way.”

I sometimes just stop by to say hi to Gil. Gas is more expensive there, though. That's a bummer but their pumps always stay busy! Oh and the air for the tires is great! “I had them look at my 2016 Mazda6. Dropped it off at 8AM. By noon they had called me to confirm what I suspected was the issue (damaged wheel bearing), and asked if I wanted to proceed with the repair. By 3PM they called again to let me know the car was ready. I did not think my car would be back on the road the same day so I was extremely surprised and pleased. The cost of the diagnostic and repair was very reasonable in my opinion at $150 total for labor.”
