Today is 2/12/2024-The day before one of the biggest expected snowstorms to hit Boston for the first time in the year 2024. And, I'm glad I decided to get tire services at Pep Boys in the Everett, MA location. For starters I'd like to thank Gregory V. for his outstanding dedication in customer service, he demonstrated that he is knowledgeable of all the products, he is a man of integrity that shows he stands behind his product and the phenomenal customer service. Greg's transparency allowed me to have full trust in him and Pep Boys. I can reassure you that I will be a long-term loyal customer from this day forward with Pep Boys and that Everett, MA location specifically. Before arriving at Pep Boys I spent a week shopping around. I looked into every tire company in the North Shore. I shopped online and called many locations to try and get the best value. A majority of the other competitors had long phone wait times, were unhelpful and directed me back to their site which can be overwhelming. I called the Everett, MA location at 4:53 PM and spoke to Greg. The first thing I said to him was: "I've been shopping around for tires as a gift for my Mother's birthday, and I have no knowledge about what are the best tires that are suitable for her vehicle. I have had no luck with other sellers." I would say that my voice was rather desperate for some answers. His tone was very warm, and patient. Instantly, I felt a sense of ease and was easily able to ask all the questions I had and by the end of the 20 minute call I had a good sense of the tire I would be looking to purchase. I asked if I would be able to get seen today even after knowing that they close at 8PM. He said he might be able to get me seen before they close. I told him I'll call him back before 6PM, and I continued to do online searches after the call for comparisons and measured knowledge of the various tire products; And, I found myself back at Pep Boys for the best deal and astonishing customer service. I decided to go through with getting my tire service at Pep Boys, Everett, MA. I had already had my moms car because I borrowed it for the weekend and had to get the car back to her before the snowstorm began. I got to Pep Boys by 6:30 PM and was out the door before they closed. I got all the works which was the 4 tires, alignment, and road hazard warranty. I drove straight to my mothers house and I let go of the wheel driving on the highway and WOW! I drove straight for 1 mile before having to curve and was very impressed with the alignment work. The car felt taller, had a strong grip to the ground, and driving over avoidable potholes was not felt, which is good because my Mother has a pinched nerve in the end of her spine and can be felt with the tires she had before. My mother was practically in tears when I arrived and told her that I got her new tires. Thank you Greg. and to the Pep Boys team in the Everett, MA location for bringing joy to myself and my family. But-overall, keeping in mind that safety was at the core of their work and it shows. I feel at peace for my Mother to be on the road and to get home safely to and from work during the upcoming Nor'Easter. I'll look forward to doing service at this location in the future. What a terrible experience all around. I made an appointment and paid for 2 new tires. I'm not entirely sure what the point of the appointment system even is... my car sat for hours before they even took it in. (I worked in the lobby) They have a link they sent you so you can follow the progress of your vehicle. They don't use it... even Dominoes has that progress tracker on lock! And there were enough people just sitting around to manage the progress tracker. (Clearly I'm cranky at them) Finally the car was done... tires looked great. After a day of driving I noticed one of my tires was now screeching like nails in a chalk board. I "make an appointment" bring it there... same type of experience, but I knew what I was in for... Hours later the girl comes over to me with a quote for $1000. I need brakes and rotors on all 4 tires. I could tell it was close to needed them checked out, but all 4 brakes and rotors! No way... I take it for a second opinion and I only need brake pads in the front. WHY BE SHADY!!!! Or maybe they need to ensure their techs actually know what they are doing. Garbage people just trying to take advantage. Sheesh... stay far away!

Good service, with fair prices. They plugged my tire but after a week it was still leaking. Went back in and they re-plugged it for free and has been good ever since!

I had an incredible experience here. They were installing tires that I didn't even purchase there, so they were making minimal profit. Regardless of that, I was treated with great customer service. The woman at the service counter (Melissa, or Michelle. I apologize she just told me and it already slipped my mind) was great! Smiling and pleasant through what looked like a very busy day. Thank you!

No one is in front of the desk to give service for customer and I saw them there is 3guy taking other room and I call to the number which is provided in the website they just ignore call how they ignore that I don’t know one of my bullset service guys don’t use here is my opinion and I wait for half and one of other customer wait for more then that and he also get mad with the people who were taking inside the room

I will be honest, I was a little tentative bringing my car here since the reviews are all over the place.But I just moved here, and needed a new battery, so here we are. Jenni at the service desk and the tech, Joshua, who worked on my car, were both fantastic. Joshua came and spoke with me about the car before installing the new battery, which I appreciated. Jenni was extremely welcoming when I told her I had just moved here.I will come back to this Pep Boys with no hesitation the next time I have an issue with my car.

I have a 4 years warranty battery bought in the Everett store and is not working anymore and the store agent very rude told me nothing they can do because I bought in retail and they do only tires now and is different owners really sad because he gave me a address 77 walnut st Peabody to they solve my problems and in this place they told me they don’t have anything to deal with pep boys customers and this is no the first time with this kind of situation with this business I hope so people look different options for cars services and products

Made an appointment online the night prior for a tire patch. A 15 minute job. When I arrived I was told that it would be at least 2 hours because they were busy. Why even take appointments if you can’t honor them. Not the employees fault their employer is using deceptive marketing to waste my time.

The staff are rude, unprofessional and lack of communication. They do not know how to talk to customers and even do not know their job. Shame on them.I had to wait 2 hours for an oil change and my car was not brought inside the checkup after 2 hours waiting. What a shame company!!!

had called for a tire repair(patch up)because my tire is starting to leak air and instant denied me they said they wouldn't be able to do it so i looked it up and pep boys does infact do tire patch ups.
