Visited McGovern Honda to view a two year old pre-owned vehicle they advertised online and once we arrived they said the car wasn't actually available on the lot. We did walk around and found a similar model/year, but the salesperson came back and said they lost the keys to that vehicle and couldn't show it. When we asked to see any of the similar model/year vehicles which were on the lot, they said they didn't have enough info about those vehicles to show it to us. Very sketchy. I'm hoping this wasn't a racial issue, but educated enough to know it was. We considered asking for another salesperson, but not willing to give my business to this type of company.

I never leave reviews, but this needs to be said...Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase a car here. They are thieves. They tried to offer me $4000 less than the KBB value for my car and charge me $2000 above MSRP for a CRV. When all was said and done they handed me a final offer that was $10,000 higher than Parkway Honda for the same exact SUV. They had added all of these extra charges too. When I told them I was not interested and wanted to leave they literally tried to hold me and my car keys hostage at the dealership. Then when I finally got my keys and I was trying to drive away the sleazy manager and salesman were right in my window trying to prevent me from driving away. It was kind of disturbing, creepy and uncomfortable. If I chose them my monthly payment would have been $670. Tomorrow I pick my CRV up at Parkway for $450 a month. I have never been so offended in my life by the way I was at McGovern. They must have thought I'm a total idiot or "just a woman," but the joke was on them. They will try to rob you blind. Anyone leaving 5 star reviews has to either work there or does not realize they got robbed yet. I wish zero stars was an option...

This place is so horrendous I needed to leave another review. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. All car dealerships are dishonest but this place is the WORST. Very deceiving and not helpful in any way once you're done purchasing the vehicle. Bought a vehicle at McGovern Honda in February and started noticing thousand dollar problems months later. Haven't owned this vehicle 1 whole year yet and broke down THREE different times. They have done nothing to help me except tell me to go to a Hyundai dealership because there's nothing they can do at Honda, where I purchased the vehicle. After my second break down they told me to always get towed to where I bought it..... but they can't help me..... Don't get me started on how long you'll have to wait for a service appointment. Did they tell me about the numerous recalls Hyundai has right now on their engines prior to my purchase? NO. THEY ARE DESPICABLE. DO NOT GO HERE. After my second break down I went back to McGovern Honda trying to trade in this terrible vehicle and the manager had his "best" employee help me out. I was told he would be in touch with me when he found the right vehicle for me. I followed up with him twice and he insisted he would find me another vehicle. Months later, NOTHING. You're not their problem anymore after you give them your money. (I never ever ever leave reviews but I feel so passionate about how they mistreated me and this whole situation that I need to warn people of their dishonesty and terrible customer service)

I recently visited McGovern Honda after having a disappointing experience with another Honda Dealership. McGovern restored my faith in Honda. Dennis, on the sales staff was informative, patient, & organized. McGovern had the car I wanted on the lot & I was able to drive out in my new car within hours.

I had a great experience with them! The people who helped me were friendly and made the whole experience no hassle. I went in to get my A/C fixed due to a recall. They recommended some other things that needed maintenance (which I know are legitimate), but I wasn't pressured into doing any of those. Their system made it easy to review and confirm what I wanted done and how much it would cost.

I received a call from Rocky at McGovern Honda regarding my concern and he offered to provide a free replacement cover part for the door handle. He scheduled the replacement for the next day, and the technician successfully replaced it in under an hour. Furthermore, Rocky followed up with me after the door handle cover replacement to ensure the processing went smoothly. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is evident as they promptly address issues without any hesitation. I wholeheartedly recommend this Honda dealer to anyone.

Andy in the service department is the man. He was incredibly helpful and communicative about what was going on with my car. He didn’t try and sell me on anything that didn’t need to be done. Cut to chase and solved my problems. Ask for Andy next time you visit!

STAY AWAY! I brought my car in last week to address a recall, and asked if they could fix some other issues with my car as well. I had a screw in my front left tire and my cruise control/lane mitigation buttons weren't working. I was out of town for the weekend, so they said they would fix everything and have it ready for me Wednesday morning. On Saturday, I received an invoice for all of the repairs, and listed on it was over $2,500 of services that I did not ask for (including replacing ALL 4 of my tires). I declined everything except what was necessary, and simply reiterated that I only wanted a patch on my front left tire. I called Wednesday morning to make sure my car was ready to go, and they confirmed, so I made my way over. When I arrived, I learned that they had actually fixed nothing: the "recall" was just a simple software update I could have done myself, and the front left tire wasn't patched because it was too close to the side wall and I had denied replacing all four of my tires, and they did not inform me that I actually did need a new front left. I bought the new tire, waited 30 minutes for them to replace it and went on my way, where I very quickly discovered they didn't fix my cruise control and lane mitigation buttons. I called back immediately to tell them, and told them it wasn't fixed, and the technician said he tested it and "maybe I just don't know how to use the car" that I've owned for 3+ years and have never had an issue with. The one woman I worked with was nice, but all of the men there had a bit of a condescending attitude towards the customers. I overheard one of the associates arguing with a different customer because they had installed a brand new tire when he only wanted a patch as well, so it seems like it might be something shady they do. I will never be using this service center again, and I will also be calling Honda Customer Service later today to request an audit of their business practices, because it feels like a giant scam.
