I have worked with Kate and Kristen for training and scent work for two of my dogs, and it's always a great experience! They're highly knowledgeable in dog behavior, and are great partners to both dog owners and our pups!

It took me years to get in one of their classes. There is not places like it anywhere in many miles and miles in the metro area.Wish their schedules were more flexible but I do like the courses they provide. My little angel enjoyed her agility class.

Paid for a zoom consult. Kate never showed up, never contacted me, will not respond to phone messages or texts. I have no idea if she is a good trainer or not. Terrible at communicating!

Kate is a knowledgable dog trainer but this is a very unprofessional enterprise. I booked the Barky Dog package, which is 400$ for three sessions. The first is virtual. Kate texted me one hour before the first appt saying she had to reschedule. We were able to agree to just move it one hour ahead, but then she couldn't get her internet to work and finally just did a phone call about 20min after the already delayed time. We then booked an in person appt. She then messaged me about a week and a half before this appt, saying she had to cancel and asked me to reschedule to the upcoming weekend or see someone else. This was pretty inconvenient - I don't have a car and had already made plans around the other time. I accommodated her. I emailed to schedule the third visit, but didn't get a reply. I emailed again, then texted, then called and left voicemails to schedule. She never got back to me to me, so I lost a lot of money on this. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

We brought our puppy Brady here from a neighbors recommendation. While I do like that the initial classes are small groups (3-4 dogs) and the set up looks ideal for dogs we had no idea what was going on.. After the evaluation day I texted them multiple times asking what the next steps should be or when to bring him in again. It says online that it’s a puppy training school but I think it’s more of a doggy daycare. The two times we went to pick him up we tried to speak to the woman we initially saw but could barely get 5 mins to speak with her as there was a line forming to pick up dogs and they were busy.. how are you supposed to continue training at home if you don’t know what was worked on throughout the day? I think in the future with new people it’s best to explain the process and be educational since a lot of money is being spent for a 4 hour time period twice a week. We have not been back since which is unfortunate since it is so close to our home.

Kate is a treasure! She's incredibly patient, understanding, and honest. My dog is very stubborn and Kate worked with me to come up with the best tools and toys to keep him on track. She very clearly loves dogs and is extremely knowledgeable in the most effective training methods. One session with Kate made a massive difference in my dog's behavior and I continue to use the tools she provided to train him. She's also very responsive to emails and answered all of my silly questions and concerns.I definitely recommend Kate and High Fidelity Dogs to anyone whose dog may need some extra help or even if they just want to be a better pet owner.

High Fidelity Dogs is great, I was looking for an energy outlet for my Boston terrier and came across their beginner agility courses. Kristen the trainer has been awesome, both my dog and I have learned so much and he looks forward to going every time. Highly recommend!

Kate was nice and helpful to train my dog and myself. However, she doesn’t do a good job of following up. Multiple times she has mentioned that she would send me an article or recipe, she never does. Whenever I have a question and text her, she never answer even though during the session she always say to text or email her with questions. She was also show up late multiple times to our session. Other than the things I mentioned above, she’s a great trainer.

If you are looking for a compassionate, effective, and understanding trainer, you can end your search right now! I HIGHLY recommend Kate. I sought out help after my dog’s anxious/reactive/guarding behaviors escalated and hit a rock bottom (definitely not helped by the weirdness of quarantine-life and relentless occurrence of nighttime fireworks at the time), and found Kate on the IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants) website. I reached out to her with a desperate and heartbroken plea for help, and within 20 minutes I had a kind, validating and thoughtful response directly from her. Kate came to our rescue and I am thankful every day that my search led us to her!Kate is able to empathize with both dog and human, and her patient, insightful communication style has never left me feeling disregarded or incompetent in even the most stressful, unpredictable or frustrating situations. She set us up with a safe and effective plan of action, gave us the tools and exercises to help repair confidence and trust, and became our biggest advocate and cheerleader along the way. She even went above and beyond by helping us find additional outside resources to supplement our care plan and supported us every step of the way. We were set up to succeed because Kate was engaged, motivated, and emotionally invested in our success — it never felt just like she was just going through the motions or trying to make a buck. My little guy and I are an example that with the right trainer and the right techniques, you can experience awesome progress! For anyone experiencing a similar situation— or even if you are just on the fence about whether you should invest the time and money into training—please don’t wait any longer! Reach out to Kate.

Look. I usually write witty haikus for my reviews but Kate deserves far more. We rescued a 100lb murder dog from Texas during covid. He is super sweet to his family, and derpy and adorable. If you aren't family though, he will eat you. He is what they call "highly reactive". We didn't know. We were so naive and full of doggo dreams. After a couple months of white knuckling this dog, we called Kate. She is so good at explaining dog behavior and teaching techniques that we felt much more confident. We've made great progress, and I wish I could say she is magic and immediately fixed dog, but that's not life. She's patient, helpful, and explains the approach and path forward. She keeps track of progress and always has feedback for you. We're still working on murderdog, but everyone is confident that we'll get there. I can confidently recommend her highly for all your doggo needs.
